The China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH) is a national trade fair organized by the China Textile Commerce Association since 1966. Held twice a year in spring and autumn, the spring edition is permanently hosted in Shanghai, while the autumn edition tours across various cities in China.

Protecting workers' lives and occupational health is the most fundamental and profound essence of safe production. Throughout the production process, the "people-oriented" principle must be strictly upheld. In balancing production and safety, safety always takes absolute precedence and must be placed first.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) refers to protective gear provided to workers to prevent or mitigate accident injuries and occupational hazards during production. By employing measures such as isolation, enclosure, absorption, dispersion, and suspension, PPE shields parts or the entire body from external harm. Under specific conditions, PPE serves as the primary protective measure. PPE products are categorized into general and special occupational protective equipment.

With rapid societal development, CIOSH comprehensively showcases new products, processes, and technologies in the occupational safety sector through integrated online and offline platforms, capturing future industry trends. To empower Chinese PPE enterprises on the global stage, in March 2020, the China Textile Commerce Association and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Leveraging their respective strengths, they jointly upgraded the spring edition of CIOSH. By connecting global industry resources, CIOSH continuously broadens international horizons for PPE manufacturers, opens efficient channels for workers to access premium PPE resources, and establishes a forward-looking platform for the PPE industry.

CIOSH remains dedicated to personal safety protection and safe production, aiming to build a comprehensive information-sharing platform among enterprises, industries, governments, academic institutions, and markets. While providing a vital trade and communication hub for global PPE producers and users, it accelerates the robust development of China's occupational safety industry, enabling domestic brands to steadily advance toward global recognition.
