The Kenya International Industrial Expo (KIIE) is strongly supported by organizations such as the Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI). This expo will showcase the latest innovations, technologies, and trends in the industrial sector. Kenyan companies will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge products, services, and solutions to strengthen their operations, enhance efficiency, and maintain market competitiveness.

The KIIE attracted 210 exhibitors from regions in China such as Shandong, Henan, Zhejiang, and Fujian, as well as local Kenyan enterprises. Exhibits covered a wide range of industries, including mechanical equipment, CNC machine tools, vehicles and accessories, building materials, hardware tools, photovoltaic and new energy, chemicals, printing and packaging, and light industrial and daily consumer goods. During the event, a cumulative total of 21,800 business visitors from Kenya and neighboring countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Somalia attended.

Located in East Africa, Kenya borders Somalia to the east, Tanzania to the south, Uganda to the west, and Ethiopia and South Sudan to the north, with its southeastern coast facing the Indian Ocean. Boasting a strategic geographical location, it serves as a trade transit hub for East Africa and a gateway and transportation nexus for the African continent, with its ports exerting strong trade reach over neighboring countries. Kenya has become a key node for the Belt and Road Initiative in Africa and a primary destination for many Chinese enterprises expanding into Africa. The Kenya International Industrial Expo (KIIE) has evolved into a vital channel and platform for Chinese enterprises to explore the Kenyan and East African markets, as well as to facilitate bilateral investment and trade exchanges between China and Africa.
