South African Cape Town Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (AAD) is the only aerospace and defense exhibition in Africa that combines trade fairs and air shows. In recent years, it has been one of the largest contributors to South Africa's GDP and is considered a national asset. Due to prolonged warfare and insufficient investment in some regions, land transportation systems in Africa are not well developed. Therefore, aviation is an important means for Africa to develop trade, promote personnel exchanges, and attract investment on the continent. Currently, Russia and China are actively exploring the potential of the African aviation market.
