MICAM Milano is Europe's largest and most prestigious footwear exhibition, ranking among the top three professional footwear shows globally. Originating in 1931 as MICAM ShoEvent, it shifted from alternating between Milan and Bologna in September 2000 to permanently settling in Milan, where it is now co-located with the International Leather Goods & Accessories Exhibition (MIPEL) at the same time and venue.
MICAM Milano underwent a comprehensive brand transformation in January 2013, adopting a new operational vision and rebranding as "theMICAM". This rebranding initiative aims to promote its global presence. The previous edition of MICAM Milano covered a total exhibition area of 67,000 square meters, featuring 1,060 exhibitors from China, South Korea, Spain, Japan, France, Russia, Hong Kong, the United States, Brazil, Turkey, and other regions, and attracting 39,857 visitors. Held biannually in spring and autumn, the exhibition offers unparalleled significance and advantages for professional footwear manufacturers to expand their markets, acquire industry insights, and track current international fashion trends.
