The China International Food & Catering Expo (abbreviated as Food & Catering Expo) is a key exhibition in the domestic trade and circulation sector hosted by the Ministry of Commerce. The inaugural expo in 2016 successfully integrated five major events: the 10th China Food Expo, the 3rd China Catering Expo, the 3rd China (Changsha) International Food Exhibition, the 11th Xiang Cuisine Food Culture Festival, and the 10th Beijing International Coffee Expo, held in Changsha. The first edition attracted leading food and catering brands from 21 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China, 12 overseas regions, and 14 prefectures within Hunan Province. It drew tens of thousands of professionals, including domestic and international distributors, agents, traders, catering institutions, and government procurement departments. The target visitor groups for the China International Food & Catering Expo include reputable distributors, agents, wholesalers, distribution companies, and dedicated food supply centers with established terminal sales networks; large chain supermarkets, hotels, catering enterprises, wine cellars, and institutional/school group purchasing units; as well as e-commerce platforms, food and agricultural wholesale markets, food chain stores, specialty stores, dedicated counters, and convenience stores. Together, we advocate for green consumption and quality living, explore new pathways for the transformation, upgrading, and innovative development of the food and catering industry, and drive the enhancement of food and catering consumption.

The China International Food & Catering Expo will feature specialized exhibition zones for coffee, alcoholic beverages, tea, bakery, catering services, and food ingredients. The organizers will intensify efforts to invite domestic and international buyers, striving to build the expo into a comprehensive matchmaking platform for the entire food and catering industry chain. It aims to serve as an efficient platform for corporate brand promotion and channel development, ultimately becoming the premier exhibition in the domestic trade and circulation sector of the food and catering industry.
