In the same year, the Xinjiang Kashgar Medical Device Exhibition and an exhibition showcasing the outcomes of paired assistance to southern Xinjiang from five prefectures were organized in Kashgar, alongside the “Southern Xinjiang Hospital Construction Conference,” fostering enhanced cooperation between hospitals and enterprises and providing a high‑quality platform for businesses to establish a foothold in southern Xinjiang, expand across the entire region, and reach markets in Central Asia.

According to the “Xinjiang Health and Wellness Sector 14th Five‑Year Development Plan,” leveraging Urumqi’s advantages as a hub of high‑quality health resources, the plan seeks to comprehensively enhance regional healthcare service capacity, vigorously develop the health‑related industry, promote the high‑quality growth of the traditional Chinese medicine sector, and foster synergistic development among health‑care, elderly care, health tourism, and related industries. It further aims to facilitate the integration of cutting‑edge technologies—such as smart healthcare, telemedicine, and “Internet Plus”—into the health sector.The Xinjiang Kashgar Medical Device Exhibition is designed to advance the construction of a healthier Xinjiang.
