The Hangzhou International Exhibition on Scientific Research & Medical Equipment Technology Exchange (IAIE CHINA) was founded in 2004 and is hosted by the Health Commission of Zhejiang Province. Since its inception, the exhibition has consistently adhered to the philosophy of "integrating diverse strengths and fostering broader exchanges." Rooted in Zhejiang with a global vision, it continuously leverages its platform to promote international medical science and technology exchange and cooperation, striving to support Zhejiang in building a highland for scientific and technological innovation in life and health.

The Hangzhou International Exhibition on Scientific Research & Medical Equipment Technology Exchange (IAIE CHINA) has taken deep root in the vibrant and opportunity-rich soil of Zhejiang, thanks to the care and support of leaders at all levels and the joint efforts of all participants. It has grown into a premier international gathering in the fields of medical technology and medical equipment. The exhibition has played a vital role in fostering interactive progress between hospitals and enterprises, facilitating the exchange and sharing of medical technologies and information, and promoting cooperative development among domestic and international medical product companies.

Through successive editions, our province has cumulatively introduced international advanced scientific research and medical devices valued at over RMB 10 billion. Leveraging the exhibition platform and following the strategy of "introduction, digestion, absorption, and re-innovation," a series of medical device products that meet industrial development needs and boast high technical performance have been continuously launched. A number of medical device manufacturers with independent intellectual property rights have steadily grown and expanded, significantly driving the development of our province's medical device industry and powerfully advancing progress in scientific research and public health.

Exhibitors include internationally renowned brands such as GE (USA), Philips (Netherlands), Siemens (Germany), bioMérieux (France), Johnson & Johnson, and B. Braun, while domestic medical device enterprises are also increasingly emerging. Local Zhejiang enterprises such as Shaoxing Mingfeng, Ningbo Xingaoyi, Ningbo Kangda Intercontinental, Hangzhou Meinova, Hangzhou Lichuang, and Tonglu Tiansong, alongside prominent domestic companies like Shenzhen Mindray and Shenzhen Landwind, all make their presence felt. Notably, this is currently the only exhibition in China's medical device sector that is integrated with government procurement.
