EURO SHOES Profile
EURO SHOES is a renowned footwear exhibition in Russia. The exhibits primarily feature European footwear brands from Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Austria, France, Switzerland, Brazil, and Israel. Held twice a year, the exhibition operates on a private showroom format and is exclusively open to professional buyers with private invitations. All attendees are buyers from Russia and CIS countries.
A key feature of EURO SHOES is that European manufacturers showcase their new collections earlier than in their home markets. It is the only platform where shoe retailers can view upcoming collections from major brands nearly a year in advance, discover the latest trends in colors and styles, and place orders for their stores.
Russia's domestic footwear industry started relatively late and remains somewhat underdeveloped, with 70%-80% of market demand met by imports. Currently, the Russian footwear market is structured around three major segments: Italian, Chinese, and domestic Russian products.
Chinese footwear holds a distinct competitive advantage in the Russian market, offering significant growth potential. In the mid-to-low-end segment, Chinese shoes are more cost-effective and better aligned with local demand compared to domestic Russian products. Meanwhile, Italian shoes primarily target the high-end market, resulting in minimal competition with Chinese footwear in the mid-to-low-end sector. EURO SHOES is the optimal platform for Chinese footwear enterprises to enter the Russian market.
