The Taiwan Taipei Mould Exhibition (Taimold), founded in 1995, has hosted three major international events: the FADMA Conference, a Technical Paper Forum and Presentation Session, and the International Mould Industry Expo. Currently, Taiwan’s mould industry faces challenges such as technological gaps and labor shortages. In its early years, the sector achieved steady growth through low unit costs and mass production; however, it now needs to adopt smart manufacturing technologies—such as cyber–physical integration—to seamlessly connect design with upstream and downstream processes, both software and hardware. By leveraging data analytics and process management, the industry can establish an intelligent system architecture, thereby enhancing its global competitiveness.

The Taiwan Taipei Mould Exhibition (Taimold) covered a total exhibition area of 15,000 square meters in its most recent edition, with 260 participating companies hailing from China, Japan, South Korea, India, Turkey, Dubai, the United States, Brazil, Australia, Poland, Russia, and other countries. The event attracted 14,800 attendees.

Taiwan’s mould industry is predominantly domestic-oriented. In line with global industrial development trends,the Taiwan Taipei Mould Exhibition (Taimold), one of Taiwan’s long-established manufacturing trade shows, integrates diverse themes to deliver comprehensive Industry 4.0 solutions, laying a solid foundation for the manufacturing sector. It brings together domestic buyers from the electronics and related manufacturing industries, promotes Taiwan’s technological strengths on the international stage, and synergizes the industrial momentum of small and medium-sized enterprises, unlocking boundless business opportunities.
