The China Dongguan Famous Furniture Expo (FAMOUS FURNITURE FAIR) was founded in March 1999 and is a prestigious international brand exhibition in the Chinese home furnishing industry. The China Dongguan Famous Furniture Expo (FAMOUS FURNITURE FAIR) was founded under the direct guidance and operation of the Houjie Town Party Committee and Government, with the goal of promoting the long-term healthy development of the local furniture industry. In the same year, the "Dongguan Famous Furniture Club", an association organization, was established as the承办unit of the exhibition, which achieved full market-oriented operation after the exhibition went on track.

The China Dongguan Famous Furniture Expo (FAMOUS FURNITURE FAIR) relies on the Famous Furniture Exhibition to build the first phase of the 4 million square meters No. 9 Hall World Home Furnishings Expo Garden, forming the world's largest integrated exhibition and trade platform integrating global brand exhibitions, franchising, procurement, and direct sales. In 2017, further resource integration created the first 30,000 square meters of the No. 8 Hall Whole House Customization Hall, and in 2018 fully opened the International Brand Street with 9 independent large stores. By now, the furniture exhibition and trade cluster radiating from the No. 9 Hall to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has taken shape. With the official release of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase II No. 10 Hall of the exhibition center was officially launched on March 16, 2019. The Phase II No. 10 Hall project covers an area of 64,000 square meters and plans a construction area of 380,000 square meters, connecting with the Phase I No. 9 Hall. The scale of the two phases will reach 780,000 square meters of construction area, forming the world's largest-scale headquarters complex for large home furnishings.
