Wuhan Tea Expo – Wuhan Tea Fair Profile
Wuhan Tea Exhibition—Wuhan Tea Expo was founded in 2008 and is held twice annually, in spring and autumn. Over the years, its scale has steadily expanded, while its brand influence and appeal have continued to grow. Renowned domestic and international brands have eagerly joined, driving record-breaking socio-economic benefits. In 2015, it was included in the Ministry of Commerce’s list of exhibitions receiving national guidance and support; in 2016, it was designated as part of Wuhan’s “Exhibition Brand Enhancement Program” and was awarded the annual “Outstanding Brand Exhibition” prize, becoming a shining emblem of Hubei’s tea industry and a benchmark model for Wuhan’s convention and exhibition sector. With over 90% of attendees returning each year, the event showcases the pulse of China’s tea market at an accelerating pace, providing a robust platform for corporate branding and trade opportunities, injecting strong momentum into the tea industry, amplifying the voice of Chinese tea, and leading the sector forward with confidence.
Wuhan Tea Exhibition—At the previous edition of the Wuhan Tea Expo, the total exhibition area reached 30,000 square meters, bringing together more than 800 enterprises from over 100 major producing regions across 21 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities. The exhibits spanned six major tea categories, along with zisha pottery, ceramics, tea utensils, tea-related food products, tea apparel, tea packaging, root carvings, rosewood crafts, cultural collectibles, and other artisanal items—totaling over 100,000 product varieties that comprehensively highlighted achievements and innovations in the tea industry, tea culture, tea history, and tea technology. Preliminary statistics indicate that during the four-day event, the expo welcomed 121,300 visitors, generating sales and contractual commitments totaling RMB 1.871 billion, including RMB 136 million in on-site transactions. Notably, Hubei-based companies accounted for RMB 771 million in sales and letters of intent, marking a 63% year-on-year increase. This demonstrated to consumers: Hubei tea is thriving and making a powerful comeback!
Wuhan Tea Exhibition—The Wuhan Tea Expo has firmly established itself as the premier tea exhibition in Wuhan, earning widespread recognition and strong backing from leading industry players such as Dayi, Yulin, Chen Sheng Hao, China Tea, Lao Tongzhi, Jin Dafu, Junzhong Hao, Diannan Guyun, Baishaxi, Zhao Liqiao, Enshi Yulu, and Lichuan Hong—all regular participants.
