Barcelona Spain Packaging ExpoHispack

Hispack - Barcelona Packaging Exhibition is one of the top four famous packaging exhibitions in Europe. Founded in 2009, this exhibition has become one of the top three trade fairs for mechanical technology and the food industry in Europe.The new version of Hispack was a success, as evidenced by its numbers. The event attracted the basis of packaging transformation and represented all agents of the value chain.

Approximately 100 new companies from the packaging materials, packaging products, automation sectors joined Hispack - Barcelona Packaging Exhibition (Hispack). Apart from Spain, Turkey, Italy, Germany, France, and Portugal are the countries with the highest number of exhibitors so far.

Jordi Bernabeu, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, said: “We have very high expectations for next year’s exhibition. Hispack will be the only packaging trade fair in Europe in the first half of the year, providing an opportunity for businesses to showcase innovative packaging solutions and attract investment on a large scale.”

To achieve these figures, the organizers established contacts with packaging brands and small and medium-sized enterprises from all over Spain, as well as international professionals with specific purchasing projects, inviting them to visit in order to learn about the latest packaging solutions offered by exhibitors. Therefore, they expect a 10% increase in domestic audience and a 12% increase in international audience next year.

In addition, the Barcelona Packaging Show also signed cooperation agreements with various associations related to food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmacies, chemicals, automobiles, construction, retail, etc., in order to invite them to participate in various activities at the venue. In terms of internationalization, Hispack once again cooperated with Amec to launch an international buyer invitation program, focusing on four export markets that interest Spanish packaging companies: Morocco, Tunisia, Poland, and Mexico. In addition, the "Why Spanish Solutions" campaign will be launched in these countries to promote the competitive advantages of Spanish packaging machinery, with the Barcelona Packaging Show being its best showcase.

As a novel activity, Hispack will consider Asia as an important market opportunity, activating industrial cooperation channels between supply and demand companies in both regions. At the same time, the visiting experience of international professionals will be significantly improved, as the exhibition aims to provide them with specific content agendas. In this regard, all international visitors can use the "International Business Center" located in Hall 3, where they can find information and advice to make their visits more effective.
