Railwaytech Indonesia is the most promising event for the entire railway transportation ecosystem in Southeast Asia. The exhibition will focus on railway infrastructure, railway technology, rolling stock manufacturing, railway operators, signaling and control systems, passenger services, and components.

Organized by Maska (Indonesian Railway Association) and supported by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Railwaytech Indonesia serves as a global B2B and B2G railway summit. The exhibition provides professionals with a premier opportunity to interact with industry pioneers, discuss business matters, and access the latest industry information.

To achieve its 2030 targets, Indonesia has launched multiple initiatives, including increasing the passenger modal share from 4% to 9%, supported by over 2,800 locomotives and 34,000 passenger coaches. The freight modal share will also rise from 1.1% to 13%, supplemented by more than 2,400 locomotives and 28,000 freight wagons.

Currently, Indonesia is developing several railway projects, including Jakarta MRT Phase 3 & 4, Jakarta LRT, Bali LRT, and the Greater Surabaya Commuter Line. Following the success of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Rail, the Jakarta-Surabaya High-Speed Rail is also slated for development. By 2030, Indonesia aims to establish railways as the backbone of the country's intercity and urban public transportation.
