The Jiangxi International Green Mining Expo is aimed at assisting the healthy and sustainable development of the mining industry in Jiangxi during the new era, accelerating the widespread application of new products, new technologies, and new equipment. Jiangxi Province boasts excellent geological conditions for mineral formation and rich mineral resources, making it one of the most important bases for non-ferrous metals, rare metals, rare earths, and uranium in China. The degree of resource complementarity is relatively high. Among Jiangxi's seven major categories of minerals—copper, tungsten, rare earth, uranium, tantalum niobium, gold, and silver—known as the 'Seven Golden Flowers', tungsten mines and ion adsorption rare earth mines occupy an important position in the world's mining industry, earning it the titles of 'the Tungsten Capital of the World' and 'the Kingdom of Rare Earths'. The non-ferrous metal industry is currently the only traditional advantage industry in Jiangxi exceeding five trillion yuan, serving as the 'ballast stone' of Jiangxi's manufacturing industry and its largest pillar industry. Jiangxi is also the largest province for non-ferrous metals in China. According to Jiangxi Province's '2+6+N' industrial high-quality leapfrog development action plan, the province's non-ferrous industry revenue aims to reach the trillion-yuan level.

The Jiangxi International Green Mining Expo covers an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters with over 500 participating companies, attracting more than 50,000 professional visitors.
