As people's awareness of health increases, cross-border medical industry is gradually becoming an important bridge connecting global medical resources. With the breakthrough development of medical technology in developed countries (such as reproductive medicine, functional medicine, regenerative medicine cell therapy, longevity medicine, new cancer treatment technologies, etc.), and the gradual improvement of medical infrastructure in emerging economies, the demand for cross-border medical care has seen explosive growth, with the market size exceeding $300 billion, maintaining a year-on-year growth rate of over 10%. Countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan, and Thailand dominate the market with technological advantages, while emerging markets such as China and India are rapidly rising through cost advantages and differentiated services. From 2018 to 2021, the Chinese cross-border medical intermediary service market size grew from 16.32 billion yuan to 21.43 billion yuan.

The Beijing Global Medical Health Expo (GMH) will invite more than 100 hospitals and institutions from over 30 countries and regions to participate, covering an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters, with over 3,000 visitors. Facing these severe health challenges and opportunities, the global medical health sector urgently needs a platform to promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between advanced medical technologies from various countries. The Beijing Global Medical Health Expo (GMH) was born out of this need.
