The Kazakhstan Food & Beverage and Food Ingredients Exhibition (InterFood Astana) is an international trade fair specializing in food and beverages, food and beverage technologies, agriculture, packaging technologies and materials, as well as food ingredients. Since its inception in 1999, it has become one of the leading industry convergence platforms in Central Asia.

The highlight was the plenary session “Cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Union in the Fields of Agriculture and the Food Industry,” which was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A. Saparov, and the EU Commissioner for Agriculture, J. Wojciechowski. They discussed prospects for international cooperation and the economic and environmental benefits of cross‑border market partnerships.

At the Kazakhstan Food & Beverage and Food Ingredients Exhibition (InterFood Astana), business negotiations between manufacturers and retail chains and distributors from across the republic and the region are traditionally held on the exhibition floor. The program also includes presentations by industry experts, specialized masterclasses, and demonstrations by participating companies—such as product tastings, cooking workshops, equipment operation sessions, and showcases of cutting‑edge technologies.
