The Turkey Istanbul Shoes & Bags Exhibition (Aymod) is the second largest exhibition in the global footwear industry. It began in 1987 and is one of the most authoritative exhibitions in Turkey. It brings together major brands and designers from the global footwear industry, showcasing the latest trends in footwear, and establishing good relationships.

The Turkey Istanbul Shoes & Bags Exhibition (Aymod) covers an area of 60,000 square meters with a total of six pavilions. The exhibition attracts 547 leading domestic and international companies from more than twenty countries including Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, UK, USA, Mexico, Pakistan, Greece, Romania, India, Iran, Indonesia, Russia, Ukraine, and South Africa to display their latest products.

Turkey has a population of 78.66 million, and Istanbul, the city where the exhibition is held, is the sixth largest city in the world, the largest city in Europe and the second largest metropolitan area. It is the only metropolis in the world that straddles two continents. Its unique geographical location allows it to radiate East Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, as well as North African countries, harboring unique business opportunities. Adjacent to the Middle East and Central Asia, it currently trades closely with Ukraine, Eastern Europe, North Africa, and Europe, forming a transit trade market that can reach 1.5 billion people. Istanbul is Turkey's largest port city and its financial, trade, and commercial center. With the continuous improvement of shoemaking technology and quality, coupled with its special geographical location, it has unique advantages for shoe trade exports.

During the Turkey Istanbul Shoes & Bags Exhibition (Aymod), it is also co-organized by the Turkish Footwear Association and the Turkish footwear sector, with support from KOSGEB. A series of conferences and seminars will be held at the exhibition site to discuss future trends in the footwear industry.
