The Japan Food Export Exhibition (JFEX) is a specialized B2B trade show focusing on a comprehensive range of food and beverage products from around the world. Co-organized with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), the exhibition serves as a premier trade platform for importing and sourcing Japanese food products, backed by strong support from the Japanese government.

Due to limited arable land and high production costs, Japan boasts a large and mature market for food raw materials and processed foods, making it a net importer of staple foods. The vast majority of imported food, beverages, and ingredients enter Japan through various trade channels, primarily originating from Asian countries and regions, as well as the United States and Europe.

To establish itself as Asia's leading food and beverage trade show, JFEX attracts over 40,000 professional buyers, including retailers, supermarkets, department stores, importers, distributors, hotel and restaurant purchasers, and food manufacturers from across the globe. This annual event has become Japan's premier food industry gathering, solidifying its position as the top food trade exhibition in Asia.
