The Japan Tokyo Food Exhibition (JFEX) is a professional trade fair dedicated to all categories of food and beverages from around the globe. As a trading platform for importing and purchasing Japanese food, the Japan Food Export Fair is co-hosted by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan as a co-organizer, and also receives strong support from the Japanese government.

Due to a lack of farmland and high production costs, Japan's food raw materials and food processing market size is large and relatively mature, making it a net importer of staple grains. The majority of imported food, beverages, and raw materials enter Japan through various trade channels, with sources mainly concentrated in Asian countries and regions, the United States, and European countries.

The Japan Tokyo Food Exhibition (JFEX) aims to become Asia's leading food and alcoholic beverage trade exhibition, gathering over 40,000 professional buyers from retailers, supermarkets, department stores, importers, agents, hotel and restaurant purchasers, and food manufacturers worldwide. This exhibition has become Japan's annual food event, positioning it as the premier food trade exhibition in Asia. At the exhibition site, you can directly negotiate and purchase with local Japanese companies, with suppliers covering agricultural products, snacks, beverages, meat and seafood, etc., find newly launched Japanese food, and establish connections with intermediaries providing logistics services and export assistance services.
