The Guangzhou Design Week - Home Design Exhibition (Guangzhou Design Week) was born in 2006 under the leadership of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, and is China's first design week. It has grown into the leading design industry event in Asia. It is also an international design business event endorsed, certified, and promoted globally by the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI).
The Guangzhou Design Week sets its annual theme as - "Dear". This is a continuation of the deep affection for "together", and it is also a declaration of returning to the essence of design: now, it is a time that needs "dear"! "Dear" is not just a superficial statement, but also leads the design industry towards the future under the push of the background of the times and development needs.
In this context, the exhibition and activity content planning of the Guangzhou Design Week - Home Design Exhibition (Guangzhou Design Week) are based on the thinking of "dear", focusing on the design + selection of new business models related to contemporary residential life aesthetics. + Materials involving different industries such as private residence, catering hotel, cultural tourism commercial, etc., as well as the demand direction of "assisting brands to go overseas" and "linking up with the whole city of Guangzhou", it formulates the implementation strategy of "dear living", "dear dining", "dear tourism", "dear going overseas", and "dear Guangzhou".
The exhibition direction focuses on "new business models of contemporary residential life aesthetics", with more than 18 themed exhibition halls, over 1,000 leading brand manufacturers and institutions from more than 20 countries around the world participating in the exhibition, covering the entire supply chain and service chain needed for residential space solutions, including "outer decoration - inner decoration - after decoration".
