Uzbekistan Elevator ExhibitionProfile
The Lift Expo Uzbekistan is the only international exhibition in Uzbekistan dedicated exclusively to elevators, escalators, and related technologies and components. This event serves as a key platform for the domestic supporting industries, offering them opportunities to connect with potential overseas clients and showcase elevator components, cutting-edge technologies, and comprehensive solutions. Additionally, it provides local elevator manufacturers with valuable prospects for forging strategic partnerships and expanding their trade markets.
Uzbekistan’s elevator market comprises two distinct segments: the new‑elevator market and the maintenance‑and‑service market. The latter addresses a slowing demand for new installations by focusing on component replacement and routine maintenance services, with profitability primarily derived from spare parts and labor. Meanwhile, the former—driven by robust construction activity—requires substantial new‑building projects to sustain strong demand for complete elevator systems; emerging urban developments represent prime target markets for new‑elevator sales.
Currently, east of Tashkent’s historic city center, which was rebuilt in 1966, a new urban district capable of accommodating up to 2 million residents is under planning. This ambitious development will undoubtedly spur significant demand for elevators. Construction of this new district is well underway, with one of its landmark high‑rise buildings being undertaken by China’s Shanghai Construction Group. Surrounding the new city, numerous administrative, cultural, and commercial centers are slated for development, complemented by upscale residential neighborhoods. As a result, the new district will transform the existing urban landscape, which has historically lacked high‑rise structures, positioning itself as a modern metropolis comparable to Shanghai’s Lujiazui financial district. Furthermore, Uzbekistan’s established elevator maintenance sector generates substantial demand for spare parts, as many elevators require periodic component upgrades or replacements after prolonged operation. This segment presents an important opportunity for Chinese elevator‑component manufacturers to explore and expand their presence in the market.
As the official designated agent for this exhibition in the Greater China region, Juzhan will continue to bring more high‑quality Chinese products to the Uzbekistan show, opening new avenues for market expansion across Central Asia. Aligned with the government’s objectives of international economic integration, the Lift Expo Uzbekistan fosters domestic market growth, enhances Uzbekistan’s standing within the global elevator industry, and enjoys strong support from local authorities.
