The Xinjiang National Agricultural Machinery Expo (CAME) is Asia’s premier and a world‑renowned international trade show dedicated to agricultural machinery. This edition of the expo is themed “Smart Agricultural Machinery Empowering New‑Type Productivity, with Technology Leading Agricultural Modernization.”

The Xinjiang National Agricultural Machinery Expo (CAME) features three core exhibition zones—Agricultural Machinery Equipment, Smart Agriculture & Specialty Agricultural Machinery, and the Free Trade Zone Machinery Industry Chain—covering the entire industry value chain, from power machinery and intelligent equipment to processing machinery for agricultural and sideline products. Concurrently, the event will host specialized forums such as the Central Asia Agricultural Machinery Trade Summit and the Smart Agriculture High‑Level Forum, along with field demonstration sessions and industry matchmaking meetings.

As an important platform for the development of modern agriculture in Xinjiang, the Xinjiang International Agricultural Machinery Expo (CAME) will leverage its strategic geographic advantages to attract domestic and international agricultural machinery manufacturers, research institutions, and Central Asian buyers, thereby driving the transformation and upgrading of agricultural mechanization and fostering international cooperation. During the expo, special emphasis will be placed on showcasing machinery tailored to Xinjiang’s distinctive crops, as well as foreign‑trade services for agricultural machinery under the policies of the Free Trade Zone.

With a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, this year’s event brings together 886 domestic and international enterprises from 10 countries worldwide and 23 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China. Among them, six are Fortune Global 500 companies, and nearly 90% of exhibitors come from outside Xinjiang. Compared with last year, both the exhibition space and the number of participating companies have increased by 42% and 38%, respectively—an upward trend that vividly underscores the prosperity and dynamism of the agricultural mechanization sector.

Domestic products account for more than 80% of the exhibited machinery, with prominent brands such as Weichai Revo, Shandong Wuzheng, Changzhou Dongfeng, Changfa Agricultural Machinery, China First Tractor, Shenghe Agricultural Machinery, Tai’an Guotai, Sading Heavy Industry, Yingxuan Heavy Industry, and many others, highlighting China’s robust manufacturing capabilities and its spirit of continuous innovation in the agricultural machinery sector. Meanwhile, internationally renowned brands—including John Deere, AGCO, Deutz‑Fahr, Maschio Gaspardo, Kuhn, German Rauch, Grimme, and Japan’s Kubota—have also been invited to participate, offering visitors a grand showcase of cutting‑edge agricultural machinery.

The 2025 Xinjiang International Agricultural Machinery Expo (CIAME) was successfully held from May 25 to 27 at the Urumqi International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme “Smart Agricultural Machinery Empowering New‑Type Productivity, Technology Leading Agricultural Modernization,” the event spanned over 70,000 square meters, bringing together more than 800 exhibitors from 14 countries worldwide and 26 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China. Over 11,000 agricultural machinery units were showcased, attracting nearly 200 overseas buyers from 12 countries, including Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, who attended for business negotiations.

New‑Energy Agricultural Machinery Emerges as the Highlight. The hybrid oil‑electric cotton picker exhibited by CRRC Xinjiang Co., Ltd. achieves fuel savings of more than 20% compared with conventional diesel models, featuring a high‑capacity battery that enables all‑electric operation during transport. Among the 7E and 9E series of new‑energy tractors unveiled by Lingong Agricultural Equipment, the 9E model stands out as the world’s highest‑horsepower new‑energy hybrid tractor, employing a series‑hybrid continuously variable transmission system that delivers robust power while enhancing fuel efficiency. Meanwhile, Jiangsu Wode’s new‑energy tractors offer cost‑effectiveness, extended range, and flexible operation, making them well suited to challenging terrains.

AI‑Driven Smart Agricultural Machinery Yields Remarkable Results. Xinjiang Weier Agricultural Technology made its global debut with an intelligent cotton topping robot that leverages “stereo vision‑based 3D reconstruction plus AI planning algorithms” to precisely replicate manual topping motions. Qingdao Wotu Intelligent Technology introduced a three‑dimensional agricultural smart robot integrating AI, autonomous driving, and robotic arm technologies, capable of performing 15 core tasks such as orchard weeding, precision pesticide application, and branch pruning. During the expo, the “Artificial Intelligence + Agricultural Machinery and Agronomy Integration Collaboration Platform” was launched, aiming to promote AI‑driven agricultural technologies across Xinjiang’s vast arable lands.

Significant Achievements in International Cooperation. Jiangsu Wode signed export agreements worth RMB 108 million for cotton harvesting machinery with customers in Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. Xinjiang Tiancheng Agricultural Machinery sealed a RMB 18 million deal to export precision film‑mulching seeders to Uzbekistan and established a local subsidiary there. Case New Holland reported that sales in the Xinjiang market accounted for 25% of its total revenue, with 25 units pre‑ordered on site, totaling RMB 24 million. In addition, during the expo, the Urumqi Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the Xinjiang Agricultural Machinery Cooperation Service Federation signed a cooperation framework agreement, paving the way for the scaled‑up import and export of agricultural machinery and high‑end equipment.
