The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) in the United Arab Emirates has become a premier gathering for writers, publishers, readers, students, and children from around the world. More than just a trade show, it has evolved into an annual cultural forum.

The Sharjah Book Fair has established itself as a key focal point for Arab publishers, enjoying strong support from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. His Highness not only oversees every detail of the fair but also personally attends and inspects each pavilion prior to the official opening.

The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) brings together over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 110 countries and regions. This year’s theme is “You and the Book.” According to Ahmed, head of the Sharjah Book Authority, when people read books, those books become part of their personal narratives.
