Carbon peaking and carbon neutrality represent an energy revolution, with energy storage serving as a key supporting technology. In recent years, the energy storage sector has seen continuous favorable developments, receiving unprecedented attention in policy formulation. At the beginning of 2023, the Shandong Regulatory Office of the National Energy Administration solicited public comments on the new version of the "Two Detailed Rules," once again pushing renewable energy storage allocation into the industry spotlight. The document explicitly mandates energy storage configuration for renewable energy power stations. Consequently, driven by both policy and industry trends, integrating storage with renewable energy has become a "mandatory requirement" rather than an "optional choice."

According to the "Research Report on the Operation of Renewable Energy Storage Allocation" released by the China Electricity Council in December 2022, the installed capacity of operational new energy storage projects nationwide reached 8.7 GW by the end of 2022. The National Energy Administration has set a target of "reaching 30 GW by 2025." With the accumulation of various favorable factors for comprehensive development, the energy storage industry is poised for exponential growth in the coming years.
