Profile
The Hangzhou International Beauty Expo (CBE), taking the launch of autumn new products as an opportunity, is promoting the debut of these autumn innovations in Hangzhou, driving new industry trends and styles through innovation, and providing comprehensive support to help businesses and the market achieve growth in the second half of the year.
This edition of the expo is themed “Autumn New Arrivals,” showcasing cutting-edge products, novel raw materials, and emerging application scenarios. During the industry’s peak season for new product launches and procurement, adhering to rigorous market‑selection criteria, the event has curated participation from over 700 cosmetic companies spanning 20 countries and regions worldwide—featuring China’s rising brands, domestic ingredient suppliers, key opinion leaders and agencies, as well as innovative retail concepts and emerging channels.
China’s homegrown beauty brands have moved beyond mere imitation to forge distinctive paths of development. An increasing number of domestic brands are ramping up R&D investments to ensure product uniqueness and quality. Concurrently, as product quality continues to improve, these brands have seen a significant boost in confidence, pioneering breakthroughs in content marketing and scientific communication, thereby fueling a wave of national‑brand and “Guochao” (national trend) enthusiasm in the beauty market.
Meanwhile, the CBE Hangzhou show will contribute to the city’s urban development by highlighting innovation, fashion, technology, internationalization, and digital transformation. The expo brings together professional buyers from across China and around the globe. By audience type, online retailers account for 29.1%, offline retailers for 25.2%, and supply-chain purchasers for 21.3%; by role, procurement professionals comprise 31.1%, while chairpersons, general managers, and senior management represent 19.8%.
