The IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) in Shanghai is the flagship conference of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and one of the most influential international academic forums worldwide in the fields of circuit and system theory, design, and implementation.
ISCAS 2026 is themed “Circuits and Systems for Intelligent Society,” focusing on cutting-edge innovations arising from the convergence of circuits, systems, and artificial intelligence, thereby advancing the development of intelligent and sustainable societies.
The symposium highlights a broad range of innovative topics, including: artificial intelligence and deep learning; intelligent automotive systems; brain-inspired technologies; innovative neurotechnologies; intelligent cybersecurity systems; food security and climate change; as well as ultra-low-power circuits and systems.
Special initiatives at ISCAS 2026 include: workshops on emerging technologies related to information security, climate change, and GeronCAS; cross-society special sessions co-organized by CASS and other IEEE societies/councils, addressing compelling themes arising from recent interdisciplinary collaborations; and special issues of IEEE Transactions—inviting contributions published in TCAS-I, TCAS-II, TBioCAS, and TVLSI.
He Tingbo, Director and President of Huawei’s Semiconductor Business Group, delivered a keynote address titled “Exploring and Practicing New Paths in Semiconductors,” during which he officially unveiled the “Tao Law” for the first time globally. This marks the first time China has proposed a core principle guiding industry development in the semiconductor sector, signaling a transition of the global semiconductor industry from the “Moore’s Law era” to the “Tao Law era.”
