The Xi’an Western Digital Economy Expo—Western Digital Economy Expo (WDEE)—is themed “Gathering Digital Momentum along the Silk Road, Illuminating the Future of the West with Intelligence.” Adopting an “Exhibition + Events” format, it comprehensively showcases cutting-edge achievements and emerging trends in the digital economy, fosters deep collaboration between government and enterprises, and promotes cross-regional cooperation. The event aims to accelerate the seamless integration of digital technologies with the real economy, thereby establishing the Western Region as a premier international hub for digital economic exchange and cooperation.

In order to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on developing the digital economy, as well as the spirit of his successive inspection tours to Shaanxi, and to fully carry out the national strategic plan for digital economic development and the explicit requirements outlined in Shaanxi Province’s 14th Five-Year Plan to “actively develop artificial intelligence and the digital economy,” this expo seeks to ensure the effective implementation of outcomes from the China–Central Asia Summit and further invigorate Xi’an’s digital economic vitality.

The Xi’an Western Digital Economy Expo—Western Digital Economy Expo (WDEE)—features nine major exhibition zones centered on digital technology innovation and digital empowerment of industrial upgrading, including Resilient Cities, Digital Government “Unified Online Governance,” Core Digital Industries, Smart Terminals, Infrastructure, Digital Transformation, Digital Consumption, Digital Energy, and International Cooperation. The planned exhibition space totals 20,000 square meters.
