Profile
The China Intelligent Industry Summit (CIIS), founded in 2011 and meticulously organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, serves as a core platform for implementing major national strategies such as the “New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan.”
The CIIS has consistently adhered to a three-dimensional innovation model—“academic leadership + industrial implementation + urban empowerment”—and operates under a nationwide touring framework of “one city per year,” deeply embedding itself at the forefront of industry. Focusing on strategic national priorities such as intelligent manufacturing, smart healthcare, multimodal AI, and embodied intelligence, the summit has facilitated the practical application of over one thousand cutting-edge technological breakthroughs, establishing itself as the most authoritative and influential benchmark event in China’s AI ecosystem, seamlessly integrating academia, industry, and research.
At present, global AI development is at a historic inflection point, transitioning from isolated breakthroughs in large-scale model technologies toward the full-scale deployment of intelligent agents. The 2026 Government Work Report explicitly calls for “deepening and expanding ‘AI Plus,’ accelerating the adoption of next-generation smart terminals and intelligent agents,” while a joint document issued by three national ministries outlines the “Implementation Opinions on the Standardized Application and Innovative Development of Intelligent Agents,” marking the official entry of China’s AI sector into a new historical phase centered on application-driven growth, ecosystem co‑creation, and industrial empowerment. Consequently, bridging the “last mile” between original innovation and large-scale deployment, and fostering deep integration between AI and the real economy, have become pivotal challenges for the industry.
As the core engine of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, Shenzhen stands as a vanguard of China’s AI industry and a global hub of innovation. Its distinctive development model—characterized by government‑open application scenarios, market‑driven innovation directions, and enterprises assuming the primary role in innovation—coupled with its nationally leading technology transfer efficiency, well‑established industrial chain support, and diverse commercialization opportunities, provides an exceptionally fertile environment for the successful implementation and sustained growth of AI technologies.
With the theme “Leading Shenzhen with Intelligence, Ushering in a New Chapter for Industry,” the China Intelligent Industry Summit (CIIS) has relocated to Shenzhen. Anchored in the city’s strategic positioning as a “Global Pioneer City for Artificial Intelligence,” the summit aligns closely with the national “AI Plus” initiative, focusing on前沿 hotspots such as intelligent agents, embodied intelligence, computing–electricity synergy, AI+healthcare, and AI+education. By bringing together world‑class scientists, industry leaders, representatives of prominent investment institutions, and government policymakers, the event creates a national-level platform for high‑end academic exchange, cutting-edge成果展示, precise industry matchmaking, and urban development empowerment.
This conference will fully leverage Shenzhen’s industrial strengths and innovative dynamism, encouraging the piloting and commercialization of more advanced technologies within the city. In doing so, it will help accelerate Shenzhen’s transformation into a globally influential center for AI innovation and industrial agglomeration, thereby making a core contribution to the high‑quality development of China’s AI sector.
