Beijing City Medical Expo Details

As part of the Zhongguancun Forum series, the Beijing International Conference on Brain Science is co-hosted by the Beijing Institute of Brain Science and Brain-like Research and Nature Portfolio, bringing together leading scholars from across the global neuroscience community. The conference focuses on cutting-edge research areas including brain developmental disorders, the neural mechanisms underlying psychiatric conditions, neurodegenerative diseases, brain injury repair, brain–computer interfaces, and innovative therapeutic strategies. It provides a comprehensive platform for in-depth interdisciplinary dialogue spanning multiple scales, from the molecular level to circuitry, thereby advancing the translation of basic research into clinical applications for the treatment of brain disorders.

Profile

The Beijing Brain Conference, part of the Zhongguancun Forum series, is co-hosted by the Beijing Institute for Brain Research (CIBR) and Nature Portfolio, with the support of the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, the Zhongguancun Science Park Administrative Committee, and the Beijing Future Science City Administrative Committee.

This year’s conference will be held under the theme “From Molecules to Circuits: Toward Interventions for Brain Disorders,” focusing on multi-scale mechanistic analysis and translational research.

Key areas of focus include: brain developmental disorders—from genetics to underlying mechanisms; neural mechanisms of psychiatric disorders; neurodegenerative diseases and brain aging; neurological injury and systemic functional impairment; brain–computer interfaces and neuroengineering; and innovative therapeutic strategies for brain disorders.
