Belarus International Exhibition on Electrical Power, Energy and Lighting Profile
The Belarus International Exhibition on Power, Energy and Lighting (Minsk Energy Expo) is one of the most influential energy‑industry events in the CIS and the Baltic region. Since its inaugural edition in 1995, the exhibition has consistently attracted leading global and domestic manufacturers of equipment, materials, and technologies. Within its sector, it ranks among the largest exhibitions in the CIS and the Baltic states.
The Belarus International Exhibition on Power, Energy and Lighting (Minsk Energy Expo) brought together 200 exhibiting companies, including the country’s largest enterprises as well as international firms seeking to promote their products and technologies in the Belarusian market. Covering the entire power‑generation value chain, the event draws top global exhibitors and a specialized audience, providing a central platform for technological exchange, business matchmaking, and policy discussions—helping companies deepen their presence in the Eastern European market.
The exhibition highlights digital upgrades for smart grids, showcasing AI‑based electricity load forecasting, digital twin technologies, and microgrid solutions; it also features integrated photovoltaic‑energy storage systems and low‑temperature‑resistant transmission and distribution equipment. Additionally, it introduces heat‑pump‑based energy‑saving systems and advanced energy‑management platforms tailored to Eastern Europe’s climate and decarbonization needs.
Belarus is accelerating its energy‑structure transformation, aiming to increase the share of renewable energy generation to 30% by 2030. At the same time, the country is modernizing its power grid, planning to reconstruct 3,000 kilometers of transmission lines annually, with 70% of its distribution equipment requiring replacement. Annual demand for smart meters is projected at 800,000 units, underscoring vast market potential. As a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, Belarus benefits from the customs union’s preferential tariff regime, which lowers entry barriers for businesses.
As the official designated agent for this exhibition, Juzhan will continue to lead Chinese enterprises to participate in the Belarus Power and Energy Exhibition, providing high‑quality services to help Chinese companies tap into the Eastern European market. The Belarus International Exhibition on Power, Energy and Lighting (Minsk Energy Expo) brings together energy policymakers and procurement decision‑makers, serving as a critical platform for connecting project resources and establishing regional channels, thereby supporting companies in expanding into the CIS market and deepening China–Belarus cooperation in the energy sector.
