Belarus New Energy and Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition Profile
The Belarus New Energy and Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition (Minsk Energy Expo) is one of the most influential energy industry events in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Baltic region. Since its inaugural edition in 1995, the exhibition has consistently attracted leading global and domestic manufacturers of equipment, materials, and technologies. Within its sector, it ranks among the largest exhibitions in the CIS and the Baltic states.
The Belarus New Energy and Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition (Minsk Energy Expo) brought together 200 exhibiting companies, including the country’s largest enterprises as well as international firms seeking to promote their products and technologies in the Belarusian market. Covering the entire power industry value chain, the event draws top-tier exhibitors and specialized visitors from around the world, providing a central platform for technological exchange, business matchmaking, and policy discussions, thereby helping companies deepen their presence in the Eastern European market.
The exhibition highlights digital upgrades to smart grids, showcasing AI-based electricity load forecasting, digital twin technologies, and microgrid solutions; it also emphasizes integrated photovoltaic–energy storage systems and low-temperature-resistant transmission and distribution equipment. Additionally, it features heat pump–based energy-saving systems and advanced energy management platforms tailored to Eastern Europe’s climate and decarbonization needs.
Belarus is accelerating its energy transition, aiming to increase the share of renewable energy generation to 30% by 2030. At the same time, the country is modernizing its power grid, with plans to reconstruct 3,000 kilometers of transmission lines annually, upgrade 70% of its distribution equipment, and meet an annual demand for 800,000 smart meters—underscoring vast market potential. As a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, Belarus benefits from the customs union, with zero-tariff policies lowering barriers to entry for businesses.
As the official designated agent for this exhibition, Juzhan will continue to lead Chinese enterprises to participate in the Belarus New Energy and Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition, providing high-quality services to help Chinese companies expand into the Eastern European market. The Belarus New Energy and Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition (Minsk Energy Expo) supports enterprises in tapping into the CIS market and deepening China–Belarus cooperation in the new energy sector.
