Profile
Malaysia Blockchain Week (MYBW) is Malaysia’s largest blockchain industry event. Since its inception, it has consistently received strong support from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the Tourism Malaysia, and other government agencies, serving as a vital platform for dialogue among policymakers, businesses, industry organizations, and global Web3 builders.
This year’s conference is themed “Bridging Realities: Where Everyone Meets Web3,” bringing together industry participants from around the world in Kuala Lumpur to explore emerging trends in Web3 technologies, digital finance, and regional ecosystem development.
The event is expected to attract over 7,000 global professionals, with more than 155 international speakers hailing from 15 countries and regions. A total of over 60 parallel sessions and offline networking events will cover six key tracks: policy, institutional finance, developer ecosystems, gaming, real-world assets (RWA), and computing power.
When discussing Asia’s technological and digital finance developments, Singapore and Hong Kong often take center stage. However, as blockchain technology increasingly converges with traditional financial systems, another Southeast Asian market is drawing growing attention—Malaysia. Its relatively well-established regulatory framework, mature Islamic finance sector, rising institutional participation, and thriving digital economy ecosystem collectively form a robust foundation for exploring Web3 applications.
As Southeast Asia’s digital economy continues to expand, Malaysia is steadily emerging as one of the premier destinations for global Web3 and AI innovation. Whether seeking business opportunities, expanding into the Southeast Asian market, or staying abreast of the latest industry trends, Malaysia Blockchain Week (MYBW) offers an ideal platform for meaningful engagement.
