The Korea International Travel Fair (KOTFA), first held in 1986, is one of South Korea’s premier international travel exhibitions and also ranks among Asia’s leading international tourism trade shows.

The KOTFA has attracted approximately 495 tourism organizations and related businesses from 45 countries and regions, including 297 overseas exhibitors, with an expected attendance exceeding 100,000 visitors.

The China Pavilion, themed “Hello! China,” was established by the Chinese Tourism Office in Seoul and organized under the auspices of the International Exchange and Cooperation Bureau of China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, bringing together cultural and tourism authorities from relevant provinces as well as representatives of tourism enterprises. The pavilion features multiple functional zones, including a permanent stage area, exhibition space, negotiation zone, and interactive experience area, where traditional intangible cultural heritage activities such as tea ceremony demonstrations, guqin performances, dough figurine sculpting, and embroidery are showcased on-site.
