Profile

Founded in 1964, BAU Munich is organized by Messe München GmbH, one of Germany's top five exhibition companies. It is a leading global professional trade fair for architectural technology and building materials, and one of the largest exhibitions in the European construction industry.

BAU brings together everyone involved in the international planning, construction, and design of buildings, including architects, planners, investors, business representatives, and construction professionals. By consolidating expertise from all industries and trade sectors, BAU achieves a high international standard. It facilitates concrete exchanges of ideas and information, acts as a mediator, and unlocks synergies. BAU has always been an ideal venue for investment decisions. It enables exhibitors to access new international markets and provides all visitors with genuine, practice-oriented future prospects and lasting added value. (Copyright belongs to Jufair. The previous edition of BAU covered a total exhibition area of 180,000 square meters, gathering 2,015 exhibitors from 42 countries, including China, Japan, Dubai, India, Indonesia, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Singapore, Thailand, Poland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Peru, and Russia, with over 250,000 attendees.

The German building materials and decoration market has long evolved beyond traditional retail spaces merely selling construction and decorative supplies, with its product scope continuously expanding over the years. Currently, the Chinese building materials market is highly competitive, making overseas expansion an urgent priority for major enterprises. However, for Chinese building materials to truly become mainstream in the German and European markets, several key factors must be addressed.

Chinese enterprises exporting to Europe cannot rely solely on competitive pricing; they must prioritize product quality and after-sales service. By establishing strong partnerships with local importers and leveraging their existing marketing networks and promotional channels, companies can continuously promote their products and build independent brands. BAU Munich is undoubtedly the premier platform for Chinese construction and building materials enterprises to enter the European market.

BAU Munich tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
