Exhibition Introduction
The Value of Participating in the Second Edition of the Big 5 Construct Saudi
- Big 5 Construct Saudi is the largest and most influential architecture and construction materials event in Saudi Arabia, organized by the internationally renowned exhibition group DMG Events. Having been held for thirteen editions, it is widely regarded as a bellwether for the Middle Eastern construction industry. The exhibition enjoys strong support from the Saudi government and relevant ministries, and since its inception in 2010, it has served as a strategic gateway for global construction firms seeking access to the Saudi market.
- The core value of participation lies in its role as a precise platform for connecting with Saudi Arabia’s trillion-dollar infrastructure projects. Saudi Arabia is currently experiencing a historic construction boom, with dozens of large-scale projects shaping the nation’s future, collectively valued at up to USD 1.3 trillion. These include NEOM Future City (with a pledged investment of USD 500 billion), the Red Sea Development Project, Qiddiya entertainment city, Diriyah Gate, and other “giga”-scale initiatives. From 2023 to 2026, the construction sector is projected to maintain an average annual growth rate of 4%, while under the housing plan, the government aims to build 500,000 homes, raising homeownership rates to 70% by 2030. The exhibition provides participating companies with an unparalleled opportunity to directly engage with these monumental projects.
- The exhibition establishes an international trade platform covering the entire construction value chain. Exhibit offerings span building materials, interior finishes, HVAC systems, doors and windows, stone flooring, construction machinery, concrete technologies, urban landscaping, and other segments across the full industry spectrum. In 2025, the exhibition attracted over 2,000 exhibitors from 60 countries, drawing more than 75,000 professional visitors and occupying an exhibition area exceeding 80,000 square meters. Beyond traditional building materials, the show places particular emphasis on cutting-edge topics such as green building technologies, smart city solutions, and sustainable material applications.
- The exhibition brings together leading global construction firms alongside Saudi Arabia’s key domestic procurement decision-makers. By January 2026, the exhibition will host over 1,100 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, showcasing over 20,000 products and solutions. Representatives of major Saudi projects—including the Red Sea Global, Qiddiya, Diriyah Gate, and NEOM—as well as top-tier construction companies such as AECOM, Atkins, Al Bawani, Saudi Binladin Group, and ROSHN Group—are expected to attend for purchasing and networking.
- The exhibition concurrently hosts high-profile industry forums and distinctive events, fostering a deep integration of research, education, industry, and application to create a technological powerhouse. During the 2025 edition, eight special events and over 100 thematic presentations were organized, featuring more than 150 industry professionals. The 2026 edition continues this tradition, hosting the Architecture Leaders Forum, Big 5 Talks technical seminars, CIAAD masterclasses, and the EcoTrail sustainable technology showcase, all focusing on green building materials, energy-saving technologies, AI-driven architectural innovations, and other frontier issues.
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition represents a strategic gateway to the Middle Eastern market and a vital link to Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure resources. Chinese products hold a prominent position in the Saudi building materials market, particularly in ceramic sanitaryware, HVAC equipment, and door and window hardware. In 2025, Haier Smart Home participated with its full product lineup, presenting intelligent air-conditioning solutions and safe water systems tailored to the extreme climates of the Middle East, garnering expressions of intent for collaboration from customers in nearly 20 countries, including Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia. The Saudi government offers favorable policies such as tax exemptions for foreign investors, creating a conducive business environment for international enterprises.
