Bologna Children's Book Fair

The Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF), founded in 1964, is one of the most important exhibitions in the global children's book and multimedia industry. China will host multiple events to accelerate the global expansion of Chinese children's books. China has been invited to serve as the inaugural "Market Focus Country" at this year's BCBF. As the sole Market Focus Country, China will feature expanded exhibition space, a larger number of exhibitors, and dedicated Market Focus activities during the fair. Over 60 leading Chinese publishing groups, children's publishers, and printing enterprises will participate. Through curated book exhibitions, author dialogues, and printing product promotions, they will showcase the achievements of China's children's publishing industry and actively promote Chinese children's books to the global market.

The China Pavilion will feature over 2,500 carefully selected children's books, highlighting premium titles such as Stories of Chinese Pioneers and The Great Series of Children's Picture Books on Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture, alongside original masterpieces in children's literature, picture books, and popular science, including The Three-Body Problem Comic and Bronze and Sunflower. Using books as a medium to tell and promote Chinese stories, the exhibition aims to enhance readers worldwide, especially youth, understanding of contemporary China, and foster a "child-centered" community with a shared future for mankind.

Bologna Children's Book Fair tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
