Profile
The Ningbo International Auto Parts and Aftermarket Exhibition (CAPAFAIR) is an export-oriented trade show dedicated to automotive parts and the aftermarket. Leveraging Ningbo’s trillion-yuan automotive industry cluster, its port infrastructure, and its robust foreign trade capabilities, CAPAFAIR has established a specialized exhibition platform integrating product displays, business matchmaking, and trade services, with the aim of helping manufacturers expand both domestic and international markets.
Drawing on Ningbo’s deep-rooted automotive parts industry base and its strategic port advantages, the event will attract over 2,000 leading exhibitors from across the automotive components sector. These exhibitors represent key domestic automotive manufacturing hubs, including the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, as well as major national automotive parts production centers such as Zhejiang, Hebei, Jiangsu, Shandong, Guangzhou, and Quanzhou.
The Ningbo International Auto Parts and Aftermarket Exhibition (CAPAFAIR) anticipates welcoming more than 40,000 professional buyers from around the world, including overseas purchasers from over 70 countries and regions.
Exhibits at CAPAFAIR span six core categories: automotive parts and assemblies, automotive electrical and electronic systems, automotive accessories and customization, new energy and lightweight technologies, vehicle maintenance, inspection, and servicing, as well as advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment, thereby achieving comprehensive coverage of the entire automotive supply chain.
As the largest exhibition in East China, the Ningbo Auto Parts Show has garnered unprecedented attention within the industry. During the CAPAFAIR event, a series of high-quality forums and conferences will be held concurrently, offering in-depth analysis and discussions on critical industry topics such as high-quality development of the auto parts sector, overseas expansion of Chinese auto parts companies, e-commerce policies, and cross-border e-commerce trends.

Ningbo International Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Exhibition tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.

The Exhibition Value of the Ningbo International Auto Parts Fair (CAPAFAIR)
- China’s only export‑driven trade show for automotive components and the aftermarket. Leveraging Ningbo’s trillion‑yuan automotive industry cluster, its port‑logistics network, and its robust foreign‑trade infrastructure, the fair is dedicated to helping manufacturers expand both domestic and international markets. As a flagship event in Asia’s auto‑parts sector, it ranks second only to the Frankfurt Shanghai Auto Parts Show and far surpasses other similar exhibitions in China. Supported by Ningbo’s 5,000 automotive component enterprises—collectively generating an annual output value exceeding RMB 200 billion—and by the world‑leading logistics capabilities of the Ningbo–Zhoushan Port, the fair has established a “24‑hour global connectivity” trade network. For companies, participation offers a strategic gateway to connect with high‑quality global suppliers and gain insights into emerging trends in the auto‑parts industry.
- A comprehensive showcase of six major industry segments, with precision‑targeted export‑oriented matchmaking. Exhibits span six core categories: automotive parts and assemblies (engines, brakes, chassis, etc.), automotive electrical and electronic systems (vehicle electronics, batteries, electronic control units), automotive accessories and customization (interior and exterior trim, maintenance products, tuning components), digital and intelligent systems (autonomous driving, connected‑car technologies), repair, inspection, and maintenance equipment (workshop tools, diagnostic devices), and manufacturing technologies and equipment (molds, industrial robots, lightweight materials). Over 90% of exhibitors hold direct export qualifications, presenting a full spectrum of innovations and export‑ready solutions—from traditional components to next‑generation electric‑vehicle powertrains.
- An unparalleled gathering of global buyers, delivering outstanding results in international procurement. As an export‑focused platform, the 2025 edition attracted 27,932 professional buyers from 78 countries and regions, including 6,405 foreign‑trade professionals—such as overseas investors, import‑export firms, and cross‑border e‑commerce players—and 758 overseas purchasers. Notably, purchasing delegations from Belt and Road nations—including Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, Yemen, and Uzbekistan—experienced significant growth. French buyers attended for the fourth consecutive year, praising the fair’s scale, which rivals that of the Frankfurt show, and its diverse supplier base. The event provides exhibitors with an efficient pathway to secure overseas orders and optimize their global supply chains.
- Building on Ningbo’s reputation as a premier foreign‑trade hub, the fair serves as a thriving center for cross‑border e‑commerce. As one of China’s first pilot cities for cross‑border e‑commerce, Ningbo hosts more than 20,000 such enterprises. The fair features a dedicated Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Service Zone, where platforms like eBay, AliExpress, and Made-in-China.com set up on‑site booths to provide in‑depth analysis of global trends and operational strategies for auto‑parts categories. In 2026, the fair will introduce a Comprehensive Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Service Area, offering SMEs one‑stop support services, including overseas warehousing and payment settlement solutions.
- Six specialized forums deliver authoritative expertise, addressing key challenges faced by companies expanding internationally. Concurrent with the exhibition, a series of forums will focus on critical topics such as new energy vehicles, cross‑border e‑commerce, overseas expansion of auto‑parts businesses, and the integration of online and offline channels. These forums are characterized by their practical, actionable content. The “New Energy Vehicle and Components Manufacturing Development Forum” outlines clear pathways for local enterprises, while the Cross‑Border Practical Forum breaks down the entire process—from market research and platform selection to logistics and delivery—helping companies establish a foothold in foreign markets. Industry experts and platform representatives share real‑world insights, drawing thousands of participants and cementing these forums as vital conduits for knowledge‑driven empowerment.

Review
From August 13 to 15, 2025, the Ningbo International Auto Parts and Aftermarket Exhibition (CAPAFAIR 2025) was successfully held at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was guided by the Ningbo Municipal Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and other organizations, and co-organized by Ningbo Oriental Harbor International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and the Ningbo Automotive Parts Industry Association.
Record-breaking scale and attendance. The exhibition occupied Halls 1 through 8, with a total display area of 51,650 square meters, bringing together 1,776 high-quality automotive parts manufacturers from 21 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as well as from countries including the United States and Malaysia. Over 100,000 products spanning the automotive supply chain and after-sales market were showcased. During the three-day event, a cumulative total of 27,932 buyers attended, and visitor numbers reached 41,200, including 6,405 professional international trade buyers and 758 overseas purchasers from 78 countries and regions.
Win-win outcomes for exhibitors and visitors, with a marked increase in internationalization. The exhibition featured group presentations from more than ten industrial bases, including Ningbo in Zhejiang and Xingtai in Hebei, led by listed companies such as Shenglong and Redic, and joined by emerging players like AkzoNobel. Foreign buyers, import‑export firms, and cross‑border e‑commerce entities were particularly active, while purchasers from Taiwan, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, and other countries and regions arrived with clearly defined needs. French buyer Tristan attended for the fourth time, remarking that “the show grows larger year after year, with an abundant supplier base—much like Automechanika Shanghai.” Dubai-based buyers highly praised the exhibition platform, expressing their hope for two annual editions.
Rich, content‑driven concurrent forums empowering enterprises to break new ground. Six specialized forums addressing key topics such as new energy vehicles, cross‑border e‑commerce, and the international expansion of auto parts were held during the event, attracting thousands of participants. The “2025 Forum on the Development of New Energy Vehicle and Parts Manufacturing” outlined distinctive growth pathways for local enterprises, while sessions such as the Walmart‑focused session and the Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Practical Forum provided end‑to‑end guidance on establishing international trade operations. Meanwhile, eBay’s investor recruitment conference shared global trends and support policies for the automotive and motorcycle parts sector, offering fresh directions for companies seeking to expand overseas.
Positive feedback from exhibitors, with tangible results. Enterprises such as Zhejiang Zhongling Intelligent Manufacturing, Qinghe County Changxuan Auto Parts, and Shiyan Baiheng Industrial & Trade reported a strong influx of both existing and new customers, along with numerous promising order intentions. Qingdao Kaizhite Technology, participating for the first time, found its initial market test unexpectedly rewarding, securing orders on the spot. Hangzhou Dayu Machinery, invited by customer referrals, also reached preliminary cooperation agreements at the show. The next edition of the exhibition is scheduled to take place from August 12 to 14, 2026, once again at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center.
