The Exhibition Value of the China International Radio, Television and Network Technology Expo

  • CCBN is Asia’s largest and one of the world’s leading trade fairs for broadcasting and television technology equipment. Guided by the National Radio and Television Administration and organized by the Broadcasting Science Research Institute, after thirty editions of development, it has become a global benchmark for the audiovisual industry and a central platform for showcasing cutting-edge technological innovations. Centered on the audiovisual sector, the expo features exhibits spanning broadcasting and television, online audiovisual services, film, information‑based audiovisual solutions, communications, and IT—covering the entire value chain from content acquisition and production to transmission and distribution, as well as operations management and end‑user services.
  • The core value of exhibiting lies in its unparalleled industry authority and its role as a platform that precisely connects resources across the entire supply chain. In 2025, the expo will occupy 50,000 square meters, bringing together over 600 leading domestic and international enterprises and institutions—including Huawei, Sony, Xiaomi, Skyworth, Douyin, Mango TV, ZTE, and iFLYTEK—showcasing more than 10,000 audiovisual technology products and attracting nearly 80,000 professional visitors. These attendees represent broadcasting and television authorities at all levels, TV and radio stations, cable network operators, telecom carriers, online audiovisual platforms, and academic and research institutions, making the event a strategic gateway for exhibitors to expand their industry networks and engage with key clients.
  • The expo has established a one‑stop commercial platform covering all major technological domains, including ultra‑high definition, next‑generation broadcasting networks, artificial intelligence, emergency broadcasting, and cybersecurity. In 2025, the event will focus on critical areas such as the comprehensive optimization and upgrading of the ultra‑high‑definition ecosystem, the development of next‑generation broadcasting networks, progress in “dual governance” initiatives, innovative applications of generative AI (AIGC), and short‑form online video series, with more than 20 specialized exhibition zones. The Ultra‑HD zone will feature cameras, professional equipment, and consumer‑grade ultra‑HD audiovisual products, accounting for 40% of the total exhibit space and highlighting end‑to‑end advancements across the entire value chain.
  • Keeping pace with three major industry trends—ultra‑high definition, artificial intelligence, and next‑generation broadcasting networks—the expo has created a high‑level hub for deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. During the 2025 edition, the expo will host over ten conference events, including an opening ceremony and keynote address, as well as a series of thematic forums. Renowned experts such as Chinese Academy of Sciences Academicians Zheng Zhiming and You Xiaohu will deliver presentations, while more than 200 guests from government, industry, academia, research, and practical application sectors will engage in focused discussions on pressing industry topics. For the first time, the expo will also feature a dedicated zone for short‑form online video series, showcasing innovative works that blend art and technology. In addition, seven international exchange activities will be held, with companies from over ten countries—including Germany, the United States, and Japan—participating, and institutional representatives from 108 nations and regions attending the event.
  • For Chinese enterprises, this expo serves as a strategic gateway for expanding both domestic and international markets, connecting with global resources, and demonstrating their innovative capabilities. Beyond being a key platform for announcing industry policies and discussing technological trends, the expo also functions as a window for international cooperation and exchange. High‑profile events such as the launch ceremony of Beijing TV’s Ultra‑HD channel and the commencement of a large‑scale deployment of ultra‑HD plug‑in set‑top boxes will take place during the expo, marking significant milestones in the industry’s evolution. Exhibiting companies can leverage this platform to access core resources across the entire value chain and seize early opportunities in the transformation of broadcasting and television toward ultra‑high definition and AI‑driven innovation.
