Vietnam International Chemical Exhibition (Chemvina)Profile
The Vietnam International Chemical Exhibition (Chemvina) has generated a tremendous response in Vietnam's chemical sector. It has now become the largest, most influential, highly international, and trade-oriented chemical event in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia, attracting outstanding buyers and purchasers from around the world annually.
Chemvina is Vietnam's only professional chemical exhibition. A total of 146 enterprises participated, hailing from China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, India, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The exhibition covers a wide range of sectors including pesticides, fertilizers, dyes, coatings, pigments, basic chemicals, water treatment agents, chemical intermediates, feed and food additives, and chemical machinery.
The exhibition featured a grand opening ceremony attended by Ms. Ma Chunyan, Vice President of the Chemical Industry Sub-Council of CCPIT; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Sinh, Deputy Director General of Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade; Mr. Le Van Thiet, Deputy Director of the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD); Mr. Hoang Tuan Dat, Director of the Plant Protection Department (MARD); Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoach Tuy, Chairman of the Vietnam Fertilizer Association; Mr. Nguyen Chi Ngoc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fertilizer Association; and Mr. Wu Jun, Consul General of China in Vietnam, among other distinguished guests.
According to the Deputy Director General of Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam's economy has grown rapidly in recent years, attracting substantial investment. The demand for chemical products in the Vietnamese market is very high; however, domestic production only meets 40% of the demand, leaving a 60% market gap. Although Vietnamese chemical enterprises have ramped up production in recent years, many raw materials still cannot be produced locally and must be imported. Notably, 80% of Vietnam's imported chemical raw materials come from China, undoubtedly presenting immense business opportunities for Chinese chemical enterprises.
Vietnam International Chemical Exhibition (Chemvina) tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
