Review
The 18th China International Die Casting Industry Exhibition was successfully held from May 20 to 23, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Tianjin). This edition of the show took place concurrently with the 23rd China International Foundry Expo and the 18th International Nonferrous and Special Casting Exhibition, under the theme “Building a New Paradigm for High-Quality Development of the Casting Industry Chain.” A total of six themed pavilions were opened, covering an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters. Nearly 1,000 exhibiting companies from over 50 countries and regions worldwide participated, attracting 133,996 professional visitors for on-site visits and business negotiations.
The exhibition provided comprehensive coverage of the entire die casting industry chain, showcasing advanced die-casting equipment, green raw and auxiliary materials, high-end castings, and integrated die-casting technologies. Xiaomi Auto made its debut at the event, drawing significant attention with its on-site display of an integrated aluminum die-cast triangular arm and rear floor panel, which captivated tens of thousands of visitors. The magnesium alloy industry chain exhibit also made a striking impression, presenting a complete picture—from the Yulin Fugu raw material base to Huafu Technology and Qingyang Aluminum-Magnesium Base—highlighting the full spectrum of the industry, from raw material procurement to R&D and application.
The internationalization of the event was markedly enhanced, with participation from national pavilions representing Japan, South Korea, Russia, Turkey, India, and other countries. Professional buyers from more than 50 nations—including South Korea, Thailand, India, Japan, Russia, Italy, and Germany—attended to explore procurement opportunities. Over one hundred industry events were held alongside the exhibition, including the “Die Casting CEO Annual Meeting & Nonferrous Lightweight Forum,” international trade supply-and-demand matchmaking sessions, and new-product launch events. At a supply-and-demand meeting, Brazil’s Tupy Company reached preliminary agreements with several foundries in bonded zones to procure high-speed rail casting production lines, while the globally launched next-generation AJS 3200 sand-molding 3D printer garnered multiple orders on-site.
