From July 16 to 18, 2025, the 19th Shanghai International Die Casting and Nonferrous Foundry Exhibition (CHINA DIECASTING & CHINA NONFERROUS 2025) was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. This edition of the show was themed “New Momentum, New Factors, New Efficiency,” with an exhibition area of 49,200 square meters spanning Halls N1 through N4. The newly commissioned Hall N4 focused on “New-Quality Productivity,” bringing together more than 580 leading companies from across the global supply chain and attracting over 20,000 professional visitors for onsite tours and procurement.
An unprecedented exhibitor lineup showcased innovative breakthroughs across the entire industry chain. Die-casting machine giants such as Lijin, Yizhimi, Bühler, and Haitian Zhisheng competed alongside leading die-casting component manufacturers including CITIC Dicastal, Guangdong Hongtu, and Wencan. Smart inspection brands like Techvalley Taikewei joined global industry leaders—including Foxconn, Toshiba, ABB, Hitachi, and Zeiss—to present cutting-edge solutions in industrial testing. Hall N4 featured five specialized zones—TOP Castings, Magnesium Alloy Die Casting, Additive Manufacturing, and Industry–University–Research Collaboration Incubation—highlighting the sector’s latest advances in large-scale integrated die casting, lightweight materials, and intelligent manufacturing.
A series of concurrent forums delivered compelling insights, with automotive lightweighting taking center stage. The “International Forum on Automotive Lightweighting” held during the event brought together OEMs and Tier-1 component suppliers such as Xpeng, Zeekr, Hunterman, GF, Wanfeng, and Siemens, engaging in in-depth discussions on innovations in lightweight materials and breakthroughs in manufacturing technologies. The organizers also invited three “2025 National Demonstration Units for Industry–University–Research Collaboration in the Die-Casting Sector” to showcase exemplary cases of technology transfer and collaborative innovation.
A strong contingent of professional buyers ensured a vibrant industry response. This year’s exhibition attracted professional buyers from over 50 countries and regions, with international attendees hailing from key markets including South Korea, Thailand, India, Japan, Russia, Italy, Germany, and the United States. Exhibitors widely reported that the event not only strengthened relationships with existing clients but also facilitated precise connections with numerous new buyers. Xiaomi Auto made its debut at the show, presenting its integrated aluminum die-cast triangular arms and rear floor panels, which became a major highlight. The next edition is scheduled to take place from May 6 to 9, 2026, at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center.
