Exhibition Value of the Shanghai International Die Casting Exhibition
- One of the Three Major Authoritative Trade Shows in the Global Die-Casting Industry: Founded in 1997 and co-organized by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and the Foundry Industry Productivity Promotion Center, this event has evolved over nearly three decades into a globally recognized platform on par with leading exhibitions in the United States and Germany. The 19th edition in 2025 will, for the first time, span all four halls of the Shanghai New International Expo Center, covering an exhibition area of 49,200 square meters. It will bring together 585 exhibitors from around the world—nearly one-fifth of whom are international—and attract 24,832 professional visitors, serving diverse application sectors including automotive, electronics, telecommunications, and medical devices.
- Comprehensive Coverage of the Entire Industry Chain Ecosystem: The exhibit lineup fully encompasses every segment of the die-casting value chain, including die-casting machines, molds, alloy materials, auxiliary materials, automation equipment, environmental protection systems, testing instruments, software solutions, and additive manufacturing technologies. From raw and auxiliary materials to melting, casting, automation and peripheral processes, as well as post‑processing and inspection equipment, the show provides end-to-end solutions for hot topics such as automotive lightweighting and integrated die casting.
- A Hub for International Resource Networking: The exhibition draws leading global players in the die-casting industry, with active participation from more than 30 member countries of the World Foundry Organization. Past editions have featured renowned international brands such as Bühler, LK Tech, Yizumi, Italpresse, Tadano, Fuli, ABB, and FANUC, alongside China’s domestic industry leaders, showcasing cutting-edge advancements in die-casting technology.
- A Premier Launchpad for Cutting-Edge Technologies: Since 2017, the organizing committee has initiated the annual “Die-Casting Industry Innovation Technology and Product Awards,” with winning innovations unveiled at the show. Many companies have chosen CHINA DIECASTING as their preferred platform for showcasing advanced products and technologies, as well as for launching new offerings. In 2025, the exhibition will host, for the first time, a dedicated session on large-scale integrated die-casting solutions, focusing on emerging trends in the electric vehicle sector.
- More Than 18 High-Level Forums Empowering Industry Leaders: Concurrently, the event will feature 18 technical exchange sessions, including seminars on international die-casting market development and cooperation, specialized forums on electric vehicles and body lightweighting, sessions dedicated to large-scale integrated die-casting solutions, post-processing and finishing techniques, digital applications of die-casting technology, smart factories and intelligent manufacturing, and low-carbon sustainable development. These events invite domestic and international experts to engage in in-depth discussions on industry trends, R&D and innovation, and upstream–downstream technological integration.
- Authoritative Endorsement Through the Premium Die-Casting Parts Selection: Since its inception in 2014, the “Premium Die-Casting Parts Selection” has grown into one of China’s most influential brand initiatives in the die-casting sector. Now rebranded as the “Casting Carnival,” it integrates a parts selection zone, a showcase of high-quality castings, an exhibition of non‑ferrous castings, and a gathering of leading enterprises. Judging is conducted by esteemed experts across key dimensions, including application areas, corporate reputation, product quality, and levels of technological innovation, with award-winning entries receiving official industry endorsement.
- A Strategic Window for Lightweighting in Electric Vehicles: Aligned with the theme “Building a New Global Paradigm for Die Casting through Electric Vehicle Development,” the exhibition highlights pioneering achievements such as integrated die-casting, large‑scale structural component molds, and high‑strength, tough alloy materials. From massive front‑end die-casting molds to lightweight structural components for electric vehicles, the show systematically demonstrates how die-casting technology is driving innovation in automotive lightweighting and the broader field of new energy vehicles.
- Precise Supply-Demand Matching Across the Industry Chain: Alongside the main exhibition, the event hosts casting procurement conferences and collaborative activities linking industry, academia, and research institutions. Through structured delegation programs and tailored supply-demand matching services, buyers and exhibitors are offered personalized one‑on‑one negotiation opportunities, fostering deeper technological exchanges and accelerating partnerships. According to organizer satisfaction surveys, 98% of exhibitors highly rate the quality of services provided, while 96% express clear intentions to participate again.
