Exhibition Introduction
China Electronics Fair – Western China, founded in 1964, stands as the oldest and most authoritative electronics exhibition in the western region and is also one of the five core members of the Asian Electronics Exhibition Consortium. With a planned exhibition space of 30,000 square meters this year, the fair will bring together more than 500 enterprises, spanning the full spectrum from foundational components to artificial intelligence applications. - A benchmark and core platform for high-quality development of the western Chinese electronic information industry. Since its inception in 2007, the expo has been based in Chengdu since 2013 and officially renamed the China (Western) Electronic Information Expo in 2020. To date, it has successfully convened thirteen editions. Guided by authoritative bodies such as the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and hosted by China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation, the expo aligns closely with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Action Plan for Stable Growth in the Electronic Information Manufacturing Sector” and the National Data Administration’s “Data Elements ×” initiative. Leveraging the national strategy of building the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, the expo directly serves Sichuan’s electronic information cluster—valued at over RMB 1.68 trillion—and the broader Chengdu-Chongqing advanced manufacturing ecosystem, estimated at RMB 1.7 trillion, serving as a strategic gateway for businesses seeking policy benefits and integration into regional industrial ecosystems.
- Two thematic halls—“Digital Intelligence Innovation + Basic Electronics”—working in tandem to present a panoramic view of the entire industry chain. The expo features two main pavilions: the Digital Intelligence Innovation Hall (Hall 8) and the Basic Electronics Hall (Hall 9). The Digital Intelligence Innovation Hall focuses on cutting-edge domains such as smart terminals, the low-altitude economy, next-generation displays, digital infrastructure, and intelligent manufacturing, while the Basic Electronics Hall delves into core foundational areas including integrated circuits, electronic components, specialized electronics, testing and measurement equipment, and SMT machinery. From AI servers and high-end storage solutions to miniaturized MLCC technologies, and from semiconductor equipment to microwave and RF instruments, the expo comprehensively showcases the full spectrum of innovation—from core components to end-user applications within the electronic information industry.
- Access to a global pool of buyers, establishing an international hub for trade and business connections. The 2025 edition attracted over 500 industry-leading enterprises, with more than 20,000 professional visitors on-site. During the event, a list of over 120 supply-and-demand opportunities was published, covering electronic material procurement, supply chain management services, and next-generation technology collaborations, facilitating 19 on-site contract signings totaling RMB 56 million. Dedicated forums such as the Electronic Components Industry Chain and Supply Chain Cooperation Conference and the Digital Economy Enterprise Investment and Financing Cooperation Conference provided exhibitors with efficient channels to precisely connect with the region’s trillion-yuan market demands.
- Three-dimensional empowerment through “Exhibition + Conference + Competition,” fostering deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. Concurrent with the expo, more than ten specialized conferences were held, including the Data Elements Application Conference, the Storage and Computing Conference, and the Western Microwave and RF Technology Symposium. Executives from companies such as AMD, Alibaba DingTalk, and China Telecom, along with experts from key national laboratories, engaged in in-depth discussions on pressing issues like industrial development in the AI era, large-scale model agents, and multi-agent collaboration. Simultaneously, professional competitions such as the 9th “Kuaike Cup” National Electronic Manufacturing Welding Skills Contest and the 2nd “Yibo Cup” National Electronic Manufacturing Competition provided platforms for industry elites to hone their skills and showcase innovative breakthroughs.
- A robust specialized electronics zone empowering aerospace industry value chains. The expo featured a dedicated Specialized Electronics Zone, bringing together over 100 specialized electronics enterprises, including the China Academy of Electronics Chip Technology Research Institute, the China Academy of Electronics Industrial Foundation Research Institute, Loongson Technology, the 214th Institute of the Ordnance Group, and Yuanliu Hongyuan. These companies collectively showcased independently developed core products and cutting-edge technologies, providing critical support for building and strengthening the aerospace industry value chains in the Sichuan-Chongqing region.
