Exhibition Introduction
The Value of Participating in the Autumn National Hardware Products Trade Fair
- The Autumn National Hardware Products Trade Fair (commonly referred to as the Autumn Trade Fair) is one of the longest-running and largest specialized events in China’s hardware industry. Since its inception in 1952, it has been held continuously for 74 sessions and is widely regarded within the industry as the “parliament” of the hardware sector and a key indicator of trends in the northern hardware market. Hosted by the China Hardware & Electrical Appliance Chemical Industry Association, the fair settled permanently in Linyi in 2017. Benefiting from Linyi’s robust industrial foundation as China’s “Hardware Industry Hub” and its superior commercial and logistical advantages, it has grown into the second-largest specialized hardware trade show nationwide, following the Shanghai Hardware Expo, thus establishing an industry landscape characterized by “Shanghai Spring Expo in the South and Linyi Autumn Trade Fair in the North.”
- The core value of participation lies in its unparalleled historical legacy and its unique ability to precisely connect with the northern market. With a history spanning 73 years, the fair covers both upstream and downstream resources across the national hardware industry, attracting professional buyers from all corners of the country. At the 74th session in 2025, the exhibition area reached 70,000 square meters, drawing 1,627 exhibiting companies—equivalent to 3,319 international standard booths—and setting new records for both the number of participants and the scale of the event since its establishment in Linyi. Professional visitors included representatives from hardware and electrical appliance associations across more than thirty provinces and municipalities nationwide, such as Fujian, Hubei, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Anhui, Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Chongqing, Xinjiang, as well as numerous domestic and international procurement delegations.
- The fair provides a one-stop commercial platform covering the entire hardware industry chain. Exhibits range from manual tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, machinery, welding equipment, electromechanical products, abrasives and grinding tools, security and protective gear, hardware products, manufacturing equipment, to low-voltage electrical appliances—encompassing 12 major categories and over 200 sub‑categories. At the 2025 fair, leading industry players such as Great Wall Precision, Deli Tools, Dongcheng Power Tools, Yingmai Tools, Changlu Tools, Tes Tools, Juli Tools, Rongshida Group, Yangfan Cables, Xingyu Labor Protection, Dengsheng Labor Protection, and many others showcased their core offerings, collectively highlighting cutting-edge technological achievements and the sector’s dynamic innovation potential.
- The fair keeps pace with two major industry trends—“going global and expanding markets” and “digital transformation”—and establishes itself as a technology hub fostering deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. At the 2025 fair, two special initiatives were meticulously organized: the “Hundred Groups, Thousand Enterprises: Going Global—Empowering Hardware Companies to Expand Overseas” campaign brought together multiple cross-border e‑commerce experts, addressing topics ranging from beginner foreign trade basics and team building to customer acquisition strategies, emerging cross-border e‑commerce business models, logistics and payment solutions, and even export tax rebate policies—offering comprehensive support to help enterprises resolve challenges throughout the entire foreign trade process. Concurrently, the “Alibaba.com Hardware Industry Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Development Forum” was held, sharing strategies for global market positioning and cross‑border traffic management techniques. Additionally, the Second Hardware Industry Innovation and Digital Growth Forum was convened, focusing on pain points in digital transformation and assisting companies in establishing new growth drivers through intelligent and digital upgrades.
- For Chinese enterprises, this fair serves as a strategic gateway for entering the northern market, connecting with national resources, and showcasing innovative strengths. Adopting a dual‑mode approach—combining offline exhibitions with online platforms—the fair leverages accumulated industry data to develop the “Handheld Hardware” mini‑program, providing exhibitors with year-round online visibility and supply‑demand matchmaking, effectively creating an “everlasting Autumn Trade Fair.” As an important base and distribution center for the hardware industry within the Bohai Rim Economic Circle, Linyi currently hosts 15 wholesale trading markets for hardware products, generating an annual turnover of 35 billion yuan, with abundant industrial resources and extensive regional reach. Exhibiting companies can use this platform to connect with nationwide procurement networks and seize early opportunities in the intelligent, sophisticated, and internationalized transformation of the hardware industry.
