The 18th China International Exhibition on Industrial Textiles and Nonwovens (CINTE25) was successfully held from September 3 to 5, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. This edition of the exhibition was themed “Innovation Leads, Sustainable Future,” co-organized by the Textile Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China Industrial Textiles Association, and Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong) Ltd., and has become the annual highlight of Asia’s industrial textiles sector.

In terms of scale, the exhibition covered an area of 32,000 square meters, bringing together more than 300 exhibiting companies from China, Belgium, Germany, the United States, and other countries and regions. It attracted nearly 20,000 professional visitors from 74 countries and regions, with international attendees increasing by over 40% compared to the previous year. Exhibits spanned 15 major application areas, including medical and healthcare, geotechnical engineering, safety protection, transportation, environmental protection, energy, agriculture, and more. Professional buyer delegations from over twenty countries and regions—including the United States, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Morocco, India, Pakistan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Yemen, Albania, Argentina, Chile, and Rwanda—attended to source products.

This year’s exhibition featured numerous highlights, with innovative achievements and cutting-edge technologies serving as the central attractions. Xiamen Dangsheng unveiled DawnSens® Color, the world’s first in-situ dyed flash‑evaporation nonwoven fabric, which boasts exceptional color fastness and environmental friendliness, exemplifying the industry’s commitment to high-end, functional, and green solutions. Taihe Xincai showcased specialized synthetic fibers for protective applications, while enterprises such as Shaanxi Yuanfeng and Dangsheng Xincai leveraged new material advantages to bolster life‑safety defenses. Specialized exhibition zones and cluster pavilions emerged as key highlights. The “14th Five-Year Plan Innovations in the Industrial Textiles Sector” thematic zone invited submissions from over 70 organizations, showcasing 135 exhibits that systematically documented industry breakthroughs. Clusters from Fuling in Jiangsu, Tiantai in Zhejiang, Alar in Xinjiang, and Xiqiao in Foshan all participated, with enterprises presenting their innovations collectively. Twelve companies from Fuling grouped under a regional brand to display filter‑material innovations, ten from Tiantai exhibited distinctive filtration products, and Alar, making its debut as a collective exhibitor, immediately connected with more than ten downstream customers and leading nonwoven manufacturers.

A strong contingent of professional visitors underscored the quality of buyer resources. Fourteen buyer delegations, totaling over 250 participants, attended the exhibition. Notable brands included Kimberly‑Clark China, Shanghai Ideal Auto Technology, Li Ning sports goods, L’Oréal China, as well as Lego System from Denmark, Norafin Industries from Germany, Rockline Industries from the United States, and Toyoshima & Co. Ltd. from Japan. Overseas professional visitor delegations were especially prominent, with nearly 60 representatives traveling from more than twenty countries and regions. A design executive from Wuxi Future Treasure Technology Co., Ltd. stated that preliminary cooperation agreements had been reached with several glass fiber weaving firms and Teflon coating suppliers. Zhou Guanghua, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Nonwovens Association, noted that the exhibition’s product range was comprehensive, covering both upstream and downstream segments of the value chain.

The exhibition yielded impressive results and received enthusiastic industry feedback. Exhibiting companies widely reported that this year’s event attracted high‑quality professional visitors with clear purchasing intentions, while the level of internationalization and commercial matchmaking reached record highs. A sales manager from the UK-based Dupre Minerals Ltd., participating for the first time, remarked that over 80 inquiries were received during the two days of the show, primarily from China, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, and other markets. Vietnam Geotextile, also making its debut, expressed that the exhibition provided invaluable connections within China and globally, facilitating broader business expansion. Attendees agreed that Cinte Techtextil China is not only an excellent platform for brand exposure and commercial networking but also a critical hub for gaining insights into industry trends and exploring pathways toward intelligent, green transformation in industrial textiles.

The 20th China International Exhibition on Industrial Textiles and Nonwovens (CINTE26) will be held from September 1 to 3, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. It is expected to continue providing an efficient platform for exchange and collaboration within the global industrial textiles industry.
