Defence Services Asia (DSA), also known as the "Asian Defence Exhibition", has evolved into the world's second-largest specialized defence equipment trade show. Focusing on the evolving global security landscape and cutting-edge technological applications, this edition was officially opened by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, gathering regional and international dignitaries, military representatives, and industry leaders.

As a premier platform for comprehensive defence in Asia, this edition has achieved new breakthroughs in scale and international participation: attracting 1,456 exhibitors from 63 countries and regions, marking a further increase from previous editions. It also welcomed companies from Croatia, Finland, Hungary, Japan, and Russia for the first time, continuously elevating its international profile.

DSA focuses on showcasing traditional defence equipment, electronic warfare systems, cybersecurity technologies, and internal security solutions, while emphasizing tech-driven trends covering key areas such as artificial intelligence, unmanned systems, and advanced communications. The event brings together globally renowned companies including DEFTECH, ASELSAN, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Airbus Group, and MBDA, comprehensively presenting the latest advancements across the defence industry chain.

This edition also features the inaugural "Malaysia Defence Industry Joint Pavilion", attracting 368 local enterprises to showcase their innovation capabilities and industrial foundation. During the event, the Malaysian Ministry of Defence will award Industrial Cooperation Programme (ICP) documents worth approximately RM 1.4 billion to selected companies, driving key technology transfer and local industrial upgrading to further strengthen the national defence industrial ecosystem.

Beyond the exhibition floor, the event hosts a series of high-level forums, strategic dialogues, and specialized conferences, facilitating in-depth discussions on regional security, technological transformation, and international cooperation. Notably, Sultan Nazrin Shah of Perak will deliver a keynote address at the Putrajaya Forum, focusing on "ASEAN Security in the Era of Emerging Technologies", providing a forward-looking perspective on regional security cooperation.
