展会简介
The Exhibition Value of Fi Asia–China
- FiA Food Ingredients Exhibition is one of the most influential specialized events in the global food ingredients industry. As a key component of Informa Markets’ Fi Global Series, it has been successfully held for twenty-six editions, establishing itself as Asia’s premier exhibition and benchmark in the healthy food ingredients sector. Co‑organized by Informa Markets, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products, and Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co., Ltd., the event leverages Shanghai’s strategic position as a global trade hub to serve as a central platform for connecting resources across the global food ingredients value chain, showcasing cutting-edge innovations, and shaping industry trends.
- The core value of participation lies in its unparalleled international platform and its unique advantage in precisely linking exhibitors with global buyers. In 2025, the exhibition will be held concurrently with the Nutrition & Health Supplements Expo, the Starch & Derivatives Expo, and the Food Processing & Packaging Expo, creating a combined exhibition footprint of 200,000 square meters. It is expected to attract 93,080 visitors from both domestic and international markets, a 22% increase over 2024, including attendees from 93 countries and regions worldwide. With nearly 600 exhibitors—reaching an all-time high—the lineup features leading domestic and international companies such as Givaudan, Angel Yeast, Bloomage Biotech, Boway Bio, Bailong Chuangyuan, Jinhe Group, Rhine Biotech, and Wilmar International. An overseas buyer‑matching program will facilitate more than 200 targeted business meetings, providing exhibitors with invaluable opportunities to connect with high‑quality distributors and expand into international markets.
- The exhibition offers a one‑stop commercial platform covering the entire food ingredients value chain. Exhibits span the full spectrum, including health‑promoting ingredients, functional ingredients, plant and animal extracts, natural organic raw materials, food flavorings and additives, natural fragrances and spices, seasonings, and pet food ingredients. The show also features six specialized zones—Healthy Sweeteners, Natural Food Flavors, Premium Seasonings, Novel Food Ingredients, New Product Launches, and the Deep‑Sea Resources Center—providing attendees with a more focused and professional forum for technical exchange and collaboration.
- Keeping pace with three major industry trends—functional health, natural organic products, and sustainability—the exhibition has established a robust hub for deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. During the 2025 edition, more than 30 high‑quality professional forums will be held, addressing hot topics such as “medicinal‑food homology,” clean labeling, sustainable development, functional foods, weight management, and import/export regulations, with nearly 150 industry experts sharing the latest insights. Two immersive experience programs—“Oral Beauty Exploration” and “Silver Economy Exploration”—will spotlight oral beauty ingredients and age‑friendly star products, aligning closely with current consumer trends. The highly anticipated Fi Innovation Awards ceremony will also take place, with Mibelle Biochemistry receiving the Food Health Innovation Award, Nanjing Shengde Chuangying winning the Food Technology Innovation Award, and Angel Yeast claiming the Sustainability Innovation Award.
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition serves as a strategic gateway to expanding into global markets, connecting with international resources, and showcasing technological prowess. Leveraging the extensive resource network of the Fi Global Series, the event has successfully attracted professional buyers from 93 countries and regions, including South Korea, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Russia, the United States, Singapore, and Australia. The 2025 overseas raw material buyer‑matching session will provide exhibitors with valuable opportunities to engage face‑to‑face with over 30 international buyers from Thailand, Russia, Colombia, and other markets. Renowned international brands such as Suntory, Unilever, and Nissin Foods will also be present to source supplies. Through this platform, participating companies can tap into global procurement networks and seize early opportunities in the ongoing transformation of the food ingredients industry toward health‑oriented, functional, and internationally aligned solutions.
