China National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established in July 2011 through a joint venture between the China Foreign Trade Center (Group) (hereinafter referred to as “CFTC Group”) and Shanghai Donghao Lansheng International Service Trade (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Donghao Lansheng Group”), pursuant to the framework agreement on the co‑construction of national exhibition and convention projects signed by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government. The company is responsible for the investment, construction, and operation of the venue, as well as the development of trade shows and exhibitions.

The national exhibition and convention project boasts a total floor area of 1.47 million square meters, including 400,000 square meters of indoor exhibition halls and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space, complemented by a 150,000-square-meter commercial center, 180,000 square meters of office facilities, and a 60,000-square-meter five‑star hotel. It is positioned as one of the world’s largest, most advanced, and most competitive integrated exhibition and convention complexes.

China National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will align itself with global trends in the evolution and relocation of the exhibition industry, leveraging its strategic location in the Yangtze River Delta to serve the nation while reaching out to the world.
