Exhibition Introduction

The China International Home Textiles and Accessories Expo (Shanghai Home Textiles Show), first held in 1995, is the only national-level professional international trade fair for home textiles in China and ranks second globally among similar events. Leveraging an extensive buyer database, the expo precisely invites a diverse array of purchasers, including global importers and exporters, retail channels, design agencies, and hotel groups. This edition continues its highly efficient business-match

The Exhibition Value of the Shanghai Home Textiles Show

  • A flagship platform for the global home textiles industry, a trade event steeped in thirty years of brand heritage. Co-organized by Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong) Ltd., the Textile Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the China Home Textiles Association, this show was launched in 1995. Over more than three decades of development, it has grown into the largest and most influential specialized home textiles exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region. The Autumn 2025 edition will bring together nearly 900 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, attracting over 35,000 professional visitors, with international participation steadily increasing and further solidifying its position as a leading global hub for home textiles trade.
  • Comprehensive coverage of the entire industry chain, with twelve dedicated zones for precise market alignment. Boasting an expansive scale, the show features four major pavilions and twelve distinct exhibition zones, offering a full spectrum of products across the entire value chain—bedding, towels, curtains, sofa fabrics, carpets, wall coverings, decorative textiles, functional fabrics, shading solutions, textile accessories, digital printing, fiber art, and design. From raw materials and auxiliary components to finished home textile products, and from single-item sourcing to comprehensive soft‑furnishing solutions, the event provides a one-stop platform for procurement and business networking.
  • A汇聚 of global buyer resources, delivering outstanding results in international procurement. For the Autumn 2025 edition, the number of overseas buyers has increased to nearly 5,000, spanning 116 countries and regions, with nearly 30 buyer delegations representing a year-on-year growth of 73%. International consumer brands such as U.S.-based Culp Fabric, H&M Home, IKEA, Walmart, JD.com, and Xiaomi have all attended to source products. The show also hosts specialized sessions, including a “Belt and Road” overseas showcase and bilateral meetings with European and American chambers of commerce. A Bangladeshi buyer, attending for the first time, specifically sought bedding collections tailored to the Middle Eastern market and even submitted a detailed purchase inquiry before seeing any physical samples.
  • Innovative products spark new commercial opportunities, with sustainability and smart technologies taking center stage. UK‑based Prestigious Textiles unveiled a luxurious chenille fabric, while Spain’s Rioma SL presented its TerraLoom collection, highlighting deep connections with nature. Hong Kong’s Fu-Tex introduced dust‑proof curtains incorporating anti‑static technology[10]. Japan’s Kageyama Co., Ltd. showcased high‑end fabrics that combine antiviral, antibacterial, and humidity‑regulating properties. Meanwhile, Turkey’s Bona Home launched self‑healing sheer fabrics made from recycled yarns and other eco‑friendly materials, drawing keen interest from buyers across mainland China, Taiwan, and numerous European and North American markets.
  • More than 30 high‑level forums empower participants, fostering a deeply integrated ecosystem of industry, academia, research, and application. Alongside the exhibition, over 20 prestigious events are scheduled, focusing on four key themes: emerging technological forces, innovative design trends, industrial integration, and green circular economies. The “Future & Textiles” innovation zone highlights the convergence of sustainable materials, recycled resources, bioengineering, and AI technologies, with artificial intelligence capable of rapidly generating visualized interior textile designs. Xiaohongshu released a “Home Textiles and Furnishings Industry Operations Manual,” while experts from Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Colombia shared insights into emerging market opportunities. Sun Ruizhe, President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, emphasized that the textile industry is evolving into a technology‑driven sector, a fashion‑forward cultural force, and a responsibility‑oriented green industry.
