Profile
The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition—Light Asia (GILE)—is the annual global highlight of the lighting and LED industries. As GILE celebrates its 30th anniversary, the exhibition is poised to usher in a new chapter, embracing both the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the lighting sector. With the theme “360º+1—Unleashing the Infinite Potential of Light Through Comprehensive Practices, Taking One Step Further to Usher in a New Era of Illuminated Living,” GILE will join forces with the global lighting community to embark on a new phase of innovative development, redefining how we live with light.
This year’s event will be held concurrently with the Guangzhou Building Electrical Technology Exhibition (GEBT), spanning a total area of 250,000 square meters across 25 pavilions. Over 3,000 exhibitors will gather to showcase cutting-edge advancements across the entire lighting value chain and the latest breakthroughs in the “light‑technology convergence ecosystem.”
In response to pressing market demands—including the construction of high‑quality housing, urban renewal, the cultural‑tourism night economy, and commercial space revitalization—this edition of GILE introduces five cross‑industry application pavilions: the Illuminated Living Pavilion, the Cultural‑Tourism Visual Experience Pavilion, the Smart Light & Health Ecosystem Pavilion, and others, helping companies precisely target emerging growth areas.
During the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), the inaugural “Light Asia Digital Agriculture Award” will also make its debut, bringing together leading universities and enterprises in China’s smart agriculture sector. The award will spotlight technological breakthroughs in areas such as plant‑specific light spectra, intelligent temperature control, facility‑based agriculture, and aquaculture, thereby supporting the green transformation and high‑quality development of the agricultural industry.
Here, inspiration is continuously sparked, turning one lighting possibility after another into reality.Light Asia (GILE) is not only a grand celebration of technology and aesthetics but also a platform for cross‑sectoral industrial collaboration and ecosystem integration. We invite you to join us at this landmark event where light meets the future!

A newly established “Light Scene Lab” features six thematic laboratories—urban, architectural, tourism, hospitality, health, and home—deeply exploring the dynamic interplay among light, space, and people.
- Authoritative Empowerment through High‑End Forums: Concurrent events include the China LED Semiconductor Display Industry Summit, the Smart Health Cross‑Industry Conference, the Cultural‑Tourism Visual Forum, and more than a hundred specialized activities, culminating in the release of authoritative industry reports such as the “China LED Semiconductor Display Industry White Paper.” The Aladdin Lamp Award, often referred to as the “Oscar” of the lighting sector, attracts nearly a thousand participating companies each year, with winning products receiving global recognition from industry leaders.
- A Platform for Precise Supply‑Demand Matching: The exhibition introduces the “Lao Yang’s Choice” themed pavilion, where industry thought leaders curate premium offerings based on cutting‑edge decorative trends, redefining traditional product‑display paradigms. Meanwhile, the “Lighting Life Scene Lab” unites upstream and downstream innovators, engaging end‑users, designers, engineers, traders, and other key decision‑makers to drive technology from concept to practical implementation. Collaborations with JD.com on the “Ten Thousand Homes, Ten Thousand Lights – Lighting Renovation Program” and Xiaohongshu influencer‑led exhibition tours further bridge online and offline consumer channels.
- Innovation Incubation and Design Empowerment: The inaugural “GILE Journey” annual series spans the entire year, fostering a holistic innovation ecosystem that covers concept incubation, technological R&D, and brand‑value enhancement. The Aladdin Online Lighting Exhibition integrates a multi‑million‑item industry database, creating a high‑quality supply‑chain aggregation platform for the lighting sector. Meanwhile, the “Lighting Tasting” initiative travels to major cities nationwide, carefully selecting premium products and suppliers for end‑users.
- Synergy with the Building Electrical Exhibition: Concurrently held is the Guangzhou International Building Electrical Technology Exhibition, showcasing cutting‑edge technologies in low‑carbon smart buildings, whole‑home intelligence, and smart power distribution. Together, these two exhibitions form a complete solution ecosystem—from lighting design to intelligent control—advancing green, low‑carbon transformation and promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
- 30 Years of Brand Legacy: Over three decades of dedicated cultivation, GILE has evolved from a mere trade‑fair platform into a comprehensive hub encompassing the global lighting and LED value chains, now emerging as a pioneering force leading the worldwide “Light+” cross‑industry ecosystem. Exhibiting companies can leverage the endorsement of this national‑level platform to achieve high‑impact brand exposure and tangible trade outcomes.

Review
The 30th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (Light+Building) successfully concluded from June 9 to 12, 2025, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Marking its thirtieth anniversary, the event was held under the theme “360º+1 — Embracing Light’s Infinite Possibilities, Taking a Step Forward to Usher in a New Era of Illuminated Living,” concurrently with the Guangzhou International Building Electrical Technology Exhibition (GEBT). With an exhibition scale of 250,000 square meters spanning 25 pavilions, the show brought together 3,188 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions worldwide, attracting 211,173 professional visitors representing 151 countries and regions, thereby reinforcing its position as a leading global platform for collaboration and innovation in the lighting industry.
The exhibition centered on the concept of “Illuminating Life,” comprehensively showcasing innovative transformations in lighting technologies across sectors such as cultural tourism, smart agriculture, intelligent health ecosystems, and residential lighting design. Over the course of the event, more than 100 forums and side events were organized. The “Living Light Scenario Lab” presented cutting-edge lighting solutions for hotels, commercial spaces, residential environments, and healthcare settings, while the Asian Lighting Art Forum explored emerging trends in lighting design, and seminars on smart agriculture and bio‑optics underscored the role of lighting in sustainable food production. Industry leaders—including the DALI Alliance and B+H Architects—engaged in in-depth discussions on hot topics such as AIoT‑enabled smart lighting, human‑centric lighting, and workplace design within the DEI framework.
Concurrent with the exhibition, the 13th Aladdin Lamp Awards Ceremony was held, where products like Foshan Lighting’s “2-in-1 Beauty Mirror” and “AI‑Based Fall‑Detection Ceiling Light” were honored with national awards for best lighting products. Smart lighting emerged as a central highlight, with LTECH unveiling its STAR‑Tech solution, enabling devices to pre‑configure network access without requiring external power. Its RGBCW light‑and‑shadow corridor, featuring millisecond‑level dynamic effects, quickly became a popular photo‑op spot. In the automotive lighting sector, companies such as Everlight Electronics, Hongli Zhihui, and Zhaochi Optoelectronics showcased advanced offerings including ADB matrix headlights and Mini LED tail lights. Meanwhile, in plant lighting, Guoxing Optoelectronics, Xuyu Optoelectronics, and Mulinsen introduced high‑PPE plant‑lighting solutions. The exhibition also witnessed a significant increase in international participation; supported by visa‑free entry policies, overseas buyer delegations from Brazil, Thailand, and other countries attended enthusiastically, with dedicated buyer‑matching sessions facilitating targeted business connections. Guangdong‑based enterprises accounted for over 60% of exhibitors, with more than 2,000 Guangdong firms participating as groups, breaking new ground and fully demonstrating the innovative vitality of China’s lighting industry. The next edition of the exhibition is scheduled to take place from June 9 to 12, 2026.
