The IDEF International Defence Industry Fair is one of the world's top four defence exhibitions. Since its inception in 1993, it has played a pivotal role in fostering friendship and cooperation among participating nations. Organized biennially in Istanbul under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV), it serves as a vital information and communication platform for the latest developments in land, sea, and air defence. The previous edition of IDEF covered a total exhibition area of 120,000 square meters, attracting 1,461 exhibitors from countries including China, the USA, Canada, Germany, the UK, South Africa, Dubai, India, Australia, and Singapore, with a total attendance of 94,198 visitors.
